법정의무교육으로서의 사회적 장애인식개선교육 제도 개선에 관한 실증적 연구: 강사와 교육 대상 기관을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 사회적 장애인식개선교육 전문강사와 법정의무교육 대상 기관 담당자 등 장애인식개선교육 현장의 다양한 의견을 수렴하여 장애인식개선교육의 효과성과 현황을 파악하고자 하는 목적을 달성하기 위해 실증연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 2023년 7월 31일부터 8월 29일까지 30일간 사회적 장애인식개선교육 강사와 법정의무교육 기관 담당자를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료 중 최종 분석에 활용된 자료는 강사 183건, 기관 256건 총 439건이며 이를 면밀하게 실증 분석을 하였다. 연구의 결과, 첫째, 강사의 소득보장과 전문적 매칭 시스템 등을 통한 강사 전문성 확보 및 기관의 강사 인력풀 접근성 강화 필요성, 둘째, 표준 교육자료와 교안 개발 및 고도화 필요, 셋째, 장애인식개선과 관련한 유사교육을 통합적으로 관리해 교육에 대한 피로도 해소 필요, 넷째, 장애인식개선교육 대상 확대를 통한 장애에 대한 사회 인식 조성의 필요성 등이 도출되었고 이를 토대로 네 가지 구체적인 실천적 방안을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study conducted empirical research to identify the effectiveness and current status of disability awareness education by gathering diverse perspectives from stakeholders in the field, including professional instructors of social disability awareness education and representatives from institutions subject to mandatory education. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted over a 30-day period from July 31 to August 29, 2023, targeting both instructors and institutional representatives. A total of 439 valid responses were collected and used for final analysis—183 from instructors and 256 from institutions. The results of the study are as follows: First, there is a need to ensure instructor professionalism by securing income guarantees and establishing a professional matching system, along with enhancing institutional access to a pool of qualified instructors. Second, it is necessary to develop and advance standardized educational materials and lesson plans. Third, integrated management of similar education programs related to disability awareness is required to reduce education fatigue. Fourth, expanding the target groups of disability awareness education is essential to foster greater social understanding of disabilities.
