사회정의 예술 경험을 위한 DBR 기반의 중학교 미술수업 모형 개발

국문 초록

본 연구는 사회정의를 기반으로 한 중학생들의 예술 경험을 위하여 설계기반연구(design-based research) 방법론을 통해 미술 수업모형을 개발한 것이다. 수업모형을 개발하기 위한 절차는 현장 사례 검토와 문헌 연구로 수업모형의 초안 설계가 이루어졌고 1차와 2차 수업모형 개발 및 현장 적용과 형성적 순환, 이론 일반화를 통해 수업모형의 최종 결과를 도출하였다. 이러한 최종 수업모형의 도출 결과를 살펴보면, 1단계 이해(Understanding) 단계에서는 핵심적인 개념과 지식 습득에 초점을 두었고, 2단계 탐구(Explore) 단계에서는 사회의 문제를 다루고 있는 예술가의 정신이 반영된 작품 감상 활동을 통해 사회 문제에 대한 중요성을 인식하였다. 3단계 실행(Execute) 단계에서는 사회적인 메시지를 예술적인 표현으로 시각화와 캠페인의 활동으로 이어지며, 4단계 성찰(Reflect) 단계에서는 예술적 경험이 된 전반적인 수업 흐름에서 사회적 책임에 대한 이해와 토론을 통한 내면화를 제안하였다. 이와 같이 점진적으로 설계되고 개발된 수업모형은 교육 현장에서 교사들에게 새로운 수업 접근과 교육적으로 유용한 지침을 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study developed an art class model through a design-based research methodology for middle school students’ art experience based on social justice. The procedure for developing the class model was to design a draft of the class model through a review of field cases and literature research, and the final results of the class model were derived through the development of the first and second class models, field application, formative circulation, and theory generalization. Looking at the results of deriving this final class model, the first stage (Understanding) focused on acquiring core concepts and knowledge, the second stage (Explore) recognized the importance of social issues through appreciation activities that reflected the spirit of artists who deal with social issues, and the third stage (Execute) visualized social messages as artistic expressions and led to campaign activities, and the fourth stage (Reflect) suggested internalization through understanding and discussion of social responsibility in the overall class flow that became an artistic experience. The class model, which was gradually designed and developed in this way, is intended to provide teachers with a new class approach and educationally useful guidelines in the field of education.
