국문 초록

최근 생성형 인공지능의 발전은 언어, 예술, 교육 등 인문학 전반에 걸쳐 인공지능 기술의 활용 가능성을 확대하고 있다. 본 연구는 인문학 분야에서 이루어진 인공지능 관련 연구의 흐름을 파악하고자, 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)에서 수집한 1,557건의 국문 초록 데이터를 대상으로 토픽 모델링을 수행하였다. 분석에는 전통적인 확률 기반 모델인 LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation)와 최신 임베딩 기반 모델인 BERTopic을 활용하였다. 그 결과, 윤리, 교육, 종교, 문화 등의 주제가 양 모델 모두에서 핵심적으로 도출되었으며, BERTopic은 문맥 기반 분석을 통해 보다 정교한 주제 구분이 가능함을 보였다. 본 연구는 인공지능 기술이 인문학적 담론과 어떻게 연결되는지를 탐색함으로써, AI 시대에서 인문학이 수행할 수 있는 역할을 조망하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

Recent advancements in generative artificial intelligence have broadened the application of AI in various areas of the humanities, including language, the arts, and education. This study explores research trends in artificial intelligence within the humanities by applying topic modeling to 1,557 Korean abstracts collected from the RISS (Research Information Sharing Service) database. Two modeling techniques were employed: the traditional probabilistic method, Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), and the neural embedding-based method, BERTopic. The results indicate that key themes such as ethics, education, religion, and culture were commonly identified by both models. BERTopic, in particular, revealed more fine-grained topic differentiation through its context-aware clustering approach. This study highlights the increasing integration of artificial intelligence into humanities research and contributes to understanding the evolving role of the humanities in the era of AI.
