기술교사의 PCK 측정도구 개발

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 기술교사의 PCK 개념을 설정하고, 이를 신뢰할 만하고 타당하게 측정하는 도구를 개발하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 이 연구는 ‘기술교사의 PCK 개념 설정’, ‘문항 개발’, ‘예비조사 실시 및 분석’, ‘본조사 실시 및 분석’의 네 단계 절차에 따라 수행되었다. 이 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기술교사의 PCK는 ‘기술교사가 학생들의 기술 교과 역량 함양을 돕기 위해 기술 교과 수업을 계획하고 운영하는 데 갖춰야 할 지식으로서, 기술교사가 지닌 ①기술 교과 내용, ②기술 교과 교육과정, ③학습자, ④기술 교과 수업전략 및 방법, ⑤기술 교과 평가, ⑥기술 교과 수업환경에 관한 지식이 통합된 기술교사 고유의 실천적 지식’으로 정의될 수 있다. 둘째, 기술교사의 PCK는 6개의 구성요인 및 14개의 하위요소로 구성될 수 있다. 6개의 구성요인은 기술교사의 PCK 정의에서 제시한 6가지 지식을 의미하며, 구성요인별로 2~3개의 하위요소를 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 이 연구에서 설정한 기술교사의 PCK 개념은 기술 교과 고유의 특성 및 최근 기술교사에게 요구되는 수업 전문성을 반영하여 도출된 결과로 볼 수 있다. 넷째, 기술교사의 PCK 측정도구의 문항은 문항 간 변별력을 확보한 총 65개의 문항으로 구성될 수 있다. 다섯째, 이 연구에서 개발한 기술교사의 PCK 측정도구는 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증한 안정된 도구이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to establish the concept of technology teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge(PCK) and to develop a reliable and valid measurement tool. To achieve this goal, the study was conducted in four stages: ‘Conceptualizing PCK for technology teachers’, ‘Developing items’, ‘Conducting a pilot test and analysis’, and ‘Conducting the main test and analysis’. The conclusions derived from the findings of this study are as follows. First, technology teachers’ PCK can be defined as “the unique practical knowledge that technology teachers must possess to plan and conduct technology education classes aimed at fostering students’ technological competencies. This encompasses integrated ① Content Knowledge of technology, Knowledge of ② Curriculum, ③ Learners, ④ Instructional Strategies and Methods, ⑤ Assessment, and ⑥ Teaching Environment of technology Subject matter” Second, technology teachers’ PCK consists of six components and 14 sub-elements. The six components correspond to the six types of knowledge presented in the definition, each comprising two to three sub-elements. Third, the concept of technology teachers’ PCK established in this study reflects the unique characteristics of technology education and the recent demands for teaching expertise in technology teachers. Fourth, the PCK measurement tool developed in this study consists of 65 items with clear discriminative power. Finally, the measurement tool for technology teachers’ PCK is validated as a reliable and valid instrument.
