상담에서의 실존적 관계 맺음 과정에 대한 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 부부 갈등으로 인하여 어려움을 겪고 있는 네 여성의 상담 과정에서의 체험과 그 의미를 관계 맺음이라는 측면에서 알아보고자 하였다. 그 결과, 네 여성과 나의 상담 과정에서의 관계 맺음은 진실한 실존을 향한 관계 맺음으로의 변화 과정이었음이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구에서 상담 과정에서의 진실한 실존적 관계 맺음은 '돌봄'이라는 주제로 엮여지는 다음의 다섯 가지 체험의 속성을 내재하고 있음이 발견되었다. 첫째, 말하고 들어주는 관계 맺음 과정에서 네 여성은 자신의 문제들을 객관화시키고 다르게 보고 느낄 수 있는 여유의 공간을 마련하게 되었다. 둘째, 네 여성과 나는 서로를 도구적 대상이 아닌 지금-여기 상담 현장에 현존하는 '너'로 인정하고 받아들이기를 선택하게 된다. 셋째, 네 여성은 상담 현장에서 자신을 개방하여 충분히 경험함으로써 온전한 자기 자신으로 현존할 수 있게 되었다. 넷째, 네 여성은 관계 맺음 과정에서 타인에게 넘겨주었던 삶에 대한 선택의 자유와 그에 따르는 책임을 자신의 것으로 받아들이게 된다. 마지막으로 상담 과정에서의 진실한 실존적 관계 맺음으로의 전환은 세상에 대한 새로운 관점을 획득하게 함으로써 네 여성의 부부 세계 내의 관계 맺음 양식을 변화시키는 계기를 마련하게 되었다. This study tried to look at the experiences and the meanings of counseling with four women suffering from marriage problems with their spouses in terms of creating a relationship. For this I focused on my interaction as a counselor with these four women, I sought to indicate the course of changes and the meanings of counseling experiences. This study found the meanings of the following five experiences inherent in the counseling course in creating an existential relationship. First, The four women unfolded their pent up ill feelings in a narrative way and I listened to their stories with full attention. The four women came to secure a distance so as not to be buried under their stories. Second, They choose to accept others as the existential You not as a necessary means of surviving others. Third, here and now in this counseling atmosphere they were able to experience themselves and live their lives existentially. Fourth, these four women regained the freedom and choice of their lives along with the responsibility that had been handed over to others. Lastly, the transition toward the existential relationship in the course of counseling moved toward building positive marriage relationship which promoted the existential changes in the four women.
