국문 초록

우리가 교육을 하는 목적도, 교육이 존재하는 이유도 아동 각자의 자기다운 성장을 위해서라는 데는 의문의 여지가 없을 것이다. 그리고 교육이 각 아동의 자기다운 성장을 가져오게 하려면 무엇보다 교사의 존재적 성장이 중요한 의미를 가질 수밖에 없다. 내러티브 탐구는 교사가 아동들과의 관계 속에서 자신의 개인적, 실천적 경험과 지식을 말하고 다시 말하는 이야기적 자기 구성 경험을 통해 아동의 성장에 기여할 수 있다고 믿는다. 먼저, 이 논문은 교사연구자가 내러티브 탐구를 통해 왜 그리고 어떻게 자신과 각 아동에 대한 관계적 이해를 형성하고, 이를 바탕으로 교육과정 계획, 조직, 실행, 평가의 주체자로서 성장하는 데 기여할 수 있는지 소개한다. 다음으로, 이 논문은 교사 연구자가 내러티브 탐구를 기반으로 자신의 교육 활동을 전개하고 이를 연구 텍스트로 형성하는 방법과 과정을 소개한다. 결론적으로, 이 논문에서 필자는 내러티브 탐구가 교사로 하여금 자신의 교육 활동을 하나의 공유된 이야기적 삶으로 실현하게 도움으로써 자기다운 교사 정체성의 형성과 계발은 물론 교육과정 전문가로서의 성장을 도울 수 있음을 말하려고 한다. There will be no doubt that the goal of education is to help each child to have the capacity to live one's own purpose and meaning in harmony with others. Thereupon, whose role should be central in curriculum planning among all of the educational agents to realize this goal? This paper emphasizes that teachers should play the central role in curriculum planning. Narrative inquiry is based on the belief that children's ontological growth is inextricably intertwined with teachers' own ontological growth best made out of the telling and retelling of their personal-practical knowledge. Firstly, this paper shares ideas on why and how narrative inquiry helps a teacher to shape and reshape the relational understanding of children, a teacher, curriculum matters, and environment. Secondly, this paper shares ideas on how a teacher shapes and reshapes one's teaching practices based on one's contextual understanding of curriculum. Thirdly, this paper shows the basic characteristics of the process of narrative inquiry in teachers' teaching practices with a portion of narrative writing tips. This paper eventually tells that narrative inquiry helps a teacher to shape one's unique teaching practices into a meaningful storied life, which ultimately helps one to grow as a good teacher and curriculum planner for the unique life of each child.
