연극놀이에서 나타나는 유아의 창의적 표현 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 S시에 소재한 G유치원에서 이루어졌다. 연구참여자는 연구자 자신과 만5세 H반 유아 23명, 담임교사 1명이다. 연구기간은 2020년 6월 25일부터 8월 27일이며 총 13차시의 연극놀이를 실시하였다. 연구자는 교사로서 연극놀이를 직접 실시하며 참여관찰하였다. 또한 연구기간 동안 녹음 및 전사자료, 사진, 동영상, 연구자 저널, 면담내용 등 다양한 자료를 수집하였다. 수집한 자료는 질적 연구의 귀납적 방법으로 분석하였다. 도출된 연구 결과는 확인과정을 거쳐 타당도를 확보하고자 노력했다. 본 연구의 결과는 세 가지로 나타났다. 첫째, 유아의 표현은 사전 지식과 경험을 반영한다. 둘째, 유아의 표현은 문제 해결의 실마리를 제공한다. 셋째, 유아의 표현은 놀이에 새로운 변화를 가져온다. 연구 결과, 유아는 놀이 안에서 자신의 창의성을 발휘하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 연극놀이를 통한 유아 창의성 교육의 가능성을 발견하였다.

영문 초록

The research was conducted at G kindergarten located in S city. The participants of this study were H class classroom teacher and twenty-three 5-year-old children. The study period was from June 25 to August 27, 2020, except for the vacation period. Dramatic play was performed 13 times from 12:00 to 12:40. I had participated children’s play as a teacher and researcher and made participatory observation at the same time. During the study, a variety of data were collected including transcribed records of voice recordings, photographs, videos, researcher’s journals, interview, etc. The research results were checked and verified by participants and peers to enhance validity. The results of this study are as follows. First, the expressions of children in the dramatic play reflect their prior knowledge and experiences. Second, the expressions of children provide clues for solving problems. Third, the expressions of children bring new changes in the dramatic play. While trying to see the creativity expressed by the children from their perspective, various meanings were discovered. This result shows that children have the abundant creative potential. Moreover, through this study, I discovered the possibility of early childhood creativity education through dramatic play.
