대학 온라인 수업을 위한 교수자 역량에 관한 교육요구도 분석

국문 초록

지난 코로나 19 펜데먹으로 인해 널리 확산된 온라인 수업은 현재 대학의 수업 유형 중 하나로 자리 잡아가고 있다. 이에 따라 온라인 수업에 대한 대학 교수자의 역량 확보가 중요해졌으며, 온라인 수업 역량에 대한 교육요구도 역시 점차 증가하고 있다. 이 연구는 대학 교수자의 효과적인 온라인 수업을 위해 교육요구도가 높은 역량과 행동지표를 도출하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 대학 온라인 수업 경협이 있는 교·강사 156 명을 대상으로 한 설문 웅답자료를 바탕으로 온라인 수업 역량과 행동지표에 대한 실행도와 중요도를 파악하였다. 또한, Borich 요구도와 The Locus for Focus 모델을 활용하여 대학 온라인 수업 역량과 행동지표에 대한 요구도의 우선순위 및 교수자의 배경변인별 교육요구도를 합께 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 모든 온라인 수업 역량에서 중요도와 실행도 간에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 교육요구도가 높은 역량으로는 ‘교육 환경 변화에 대한 민감성', ‘온라인 수업자료 개발', ‘학습자 분석' 등이 확인되었다. 또한, 행동지표별 분석결과에서는 우선순위가 높은 항목으로 총 5 개의 행동지표가 도출되었다. 이 연구에서 도출된 대학 온라인 수업을 위한 교육요구도 분석 결과는 대학 교수자가 스스로 자신의 온라인 수업 역당을 진단해 볼 수 있는 도구를 개발하는데, 고리고 대학 CTL 에서 교수자의 온라인 수업 역량 강화를 위한 교육 프로그램 개발 및 운영에 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Online classes, which have spread since the COVID—19 pandemic, are currently recognized as a type of college class. Accordingly, the competencies of college instructors for online classes is becoming important, and the educational needs training for these competencies are also gradually increasing. The purpose of this study was to analyze and derive competencies and behavioral indicators that are highly required for effective online classes by college instructors. For this purpose, the performance level and importance level of online class competencies and behavioral indicators were identified based on survey response data from 156 professors and instructors with experience in college online classes. In addition, using Borich's needs assessment model and The Locus for Focus model, the priority of needs for college online class competencies and behavioral indicators and educational needs by instructor's demographic variables were analyzed. As a result of the study, there were statistically significant differences between the performance and the importance in all competencies for online class. 'Sensitivity to changes in the educational environment', 'development of online teaching materials' , and 'learner analysis' were identified as competencies with high educational need. As a result of the analysis of each behavioral indicator, 5 behavioral indicators were derived as high priority items. The educational needs idenfied through this study can not only be used as a tool for college instructors to diagnose their own online teaching competencies, but also provide meaningful implications for developing and implementing training program to strengthen instructors' online competencies in college CTL.
