교수자 강의지원 대시보드 환용 경험연구: A 대학을 중십으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 A 대학에서 교육질 관리를 위해 개발된 교수자 강의지원 대시보드의 교내 활용성 확장을 위한 시사점을 도출하고자 진행하였다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 C 지역 소재의 일반 사립대학인 A 대학에서는 학습분석 기반 교수자 대시보드 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 이를 연구참여자 9 명을 대상으로 수업에 활용하게 한 후, 활용 경험에 대한 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 이를 통해 교수자 측면에서 새로운 데크놀로지인 대시보드 활용에 있어서의 긴장과 모순을 확인하였으며, 최근의 고등교육환경 변화에 대웅가능한 교수자 대시보드의 활용 가능성 또한 확인할 수 있었다. 연구 결과, 교수자의 활동체제 내 • 의에서 발생하는 1-4 차 모순을 도출하였다. 1 차 모순은 1) 대시보드의 수용 여부 결정자로서의 교수자 집단내의 모순, 2)최신 데크놀로지를 반영하는 도구 내의 모순, 2 차 모순으로는 1) 주체와 분업 - 학생의 역할 분업, 교수자의 역할 분업, 2) 주체와 규칙 - 강의계획서 작성·운영에 따른 모순, 교육과정에서의 모순, 3) 주체와 도구 4) 객체와 규칙간의 모순, 3 차 모순으로 타 대학과의 모순, 4차 모순으로 재정지원사업을 위한 대학평가제도와의 모순으로 규명되었다. 도출된 모순을 기반으로 대시보드의 안착을 위한 A 대학의 정책적 지원 방안을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of thi s study was to derive implications for expanding the usability of the instructor lecture support dashboard, developed for managing the quality of education at University A. To achieve this goal, a prototype of an instructor dashboard based on learning analytics was developed at University A, a private university located in Region C. This prototype was utilized in classes by nine participants, and their experiences were analyzed through in-depth interviews based on activity theory. Through this process, tensions and contradictions in using the new technology, the dashboard, from the instructors ' perspective were identified. The study results revealed first to fourth—level contradictions occurring within and outside the instructors' activity systems. First—level contradictions were l)Contradictions within the group of instructors as decision-makers on whether to accept the dashboard, 2)Contradictions within the tool reflecting the latest technology. Second—level contradictions were l)Division of roles between the subject and division of labor (roles of students and instructors) 2)Contradictions between the subject and rules (such as those arising from syllabus creation and operation, and within the curriculum), 3)Contradictions between the subject and tools. 4)Contradictions between the object and rules. Third—level was contradictions with other universities, and Fourth-level contradictions was identified as a contradiction with the university evaluation system for financial support projects. Based on the identified contradictions, policy support measures for the stable implementation of the dashboard at University A were suggested.
