탈놀이 속 진오귀굿의 표현 양상 고찰

국문 초록

이 논문은 우리나라 전통 탈놀이 속 진오귀굿의 표현 양상을 대본 기록과 표현 행위 간 그리고 지역 간 상이점을 비교 고찰하였다. 황해도 탈춤, 서울⋅경기 산대놀이 및 경남 오광대 등 세 지역을 관통하는 공통점은 발견하기 어렵고 차이점이 많다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진오귀굿 대본의 문자 기록과 실제 공연의 표현 행위 간에는 황해도 지역의 탈춤은 첨삭된 표현 행위로 인하여 차이가 많고, 서울⋅경기 지역의 산대놀이와 경남 지역의 오광대는 내용이나 구조상 차이가 거의 없다. 둘째, 무구는 황해도 지역의 탈춤은 방울, 부채, 신칼, 오방기, 백목천 등 다양하게 사용한다. 서울⋅경기 지역의 산대놀이는 부채, 방울만을 사용하므로 단순하다. 경남 오광대는 부채, 방울 대신 대나무 가지, 신광주리 등을 주로 이용한다. 셋째, 무무는 황해도 지역의 탈춤은 연풍⋅도무가 힘차고 길다. 신칼춤을 추며 상징 행위를 많이 한다. 서울⋅경기 지역의 산대놀이는 연풍⋅도무가 정적이며 짧다. 경남 지역의 오광대는 연풍⋅도무를 거의 하지 않는다. 넷째, 무가는 황해도 지역의 탈춤과 경남 지역의 오광대는 만세받이⋅축원경 등 교술 무가를 부른다. 서울⋅경기 지역의 산대놀이는 노랫가락⋅창부타령 등 서정 무가를 부른다.

영문 초록

This paper compares and examines the expression of Ginogui-gut in traditional Korean mask dance between script records and expression behaviors and differences between regions. The results are as follows. First, there are many differences in Hwanghae-do talchum between the text record of script and the actual expression behavior of the performance. Sandaenori in Seoul and Gyonggi and Okwangdae in Gyeongnam, there is little difference in content and structure. Second, the shamanic tools are used in various ways, such as bells, fans, shinkals, five-color flag, and baekmokcheon in the Hwanghae-do talchum. Sandaenori in Seoul and Gyonggi area is simple because it uses only fans and bells. Okwangdae in Gyeongnam mainly uses bamboo branches and god-basket instead of fans and bells. Third, the shamanic dance in Hwanghae-do, Yeonpung and Dommu is strong and long. They performs a lot of symbolic acts. Sandaenori in Seoul and Gyonggi area has Yeonpung and Dommu is static and short. Okwangdae in Gyeongnam rarely performs Yeonpung and Dommu. Fourth, In Hwanghae-do talchum and Okwangdae in Gyeongnam area sing descriptive shamanic songs. Sandaenori in Seoul and Gyonggi area sings lyrical shamanic songs. Ginogui-gut allows the family members of the dead to remove the anxieties caused by the death and get back to their everyday lives. Although the Ginogui-gut in korean mask dances is unreal, but it provide many spectators with comforts and revenges by empathy. Therefore the study of Ginogui-gut have a great deal of meaning.
