행동기술 평정척도를 활용한 중학생의 공동체 역량 평가도구 개발

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 행동기술 평정척도를 활용하여 중학생의 공동체 역량 평가도구를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 토대로 한 공동체 역량개념 정의에 따라 5가지 구성요소(협업능력, 참여와 책임의식, 윤리와 질서의식, 공감과 배려, 다문화 수용)를 설정하였다. 그리고 중학교 교사 대상 FGI를 실시하여 공동체 역량 평가에 적합한 8개 상황(수업 중 팀 활동, 자율활동, 자치활동, 사회 참여 활동, 오프라인 공동생활, 온라인 공동생활, 또래집단과 관계형성, 다문화집단과 관계형성)과 행동지표 421개를 추출하였다. 이후 중학교 교사(23명)에게 내용 타당성과 역량 수준을 평가받아 8개 상황별 7개, 총 56개 행동지표로 재정리하였다. 132명의 중학교 교사를 대상으로 각 행동지표의 진술문 및 수행 수준을 고정하여 배치하기 위한 조사를 실시하였고, 평정치를 고려하여 8개 상황별 5개, 총 40개의 행동지표로 구성된 최종 문항을 개발하였다. 나아가 중학생(712명)을 대상으로 본 행동기술 평정척도와 리커트 평정척도를 활용한 결과 간 상관관계, 사회적 바람직성과의 관계를 분석하였다. 이상의 내용을 토대로 행동기술 평정척도를 활용한 공동체 역량 평가도구가 세계시민교육의 맥락에서 중학생의 공동체 역량을 향상시키는 데 교육적으로 활용될 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop an assessment tool for middle school student’s community competency using the behavioral anchored rating scales(BARS). According to the definition of community competency based on literature review, 5 components were set as collaboration ability, participation and responsibility, ethics and sense of order, empathy and consideration, and multicultural acceptance. By conducting FGI with middle school teachers, 8 situations suitable for community competency evaluation like team activities during class, autonomous activities, self-governing activities, social participation, offline and online life, relationships with peer groups, relationships with multicultural groups and 421 behavioral indicators were extracted. Content validity and competency level were evaluated by 23 middle school teachers, and based on the results, 7 indicators for 8 situations, a total of 56 behavioral indicators were set. With 132 middle school teachers, a survey was conducted to arrange statements and competency levels of behavioral indicators. Considering of the results, 5 indicators for 8 situations, a total of 40 behavioral indicators were finally developed. Using the these assessment tool, an survey was conducted on 712 middle school students and the correlation between BARS and Likert scale was analyzed. Based on these results, the community competency evaluation tool using the behavioral skill rating scale could be used educationally to improve the community competence of middle school students in the context of global citizenship education.
