구직준비도에 기초한 구직단념청년의 유형화 및 주요 특성

국문 초록

이 연구는 구직단념청년의 구직준비도를 바탕으로 유형을 도출하고, 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 유형별 차이를 도출하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 총 805명의 구직단념청 년을 대상으로 계층적 군집분석과 k-means 군집분석을 시행하였으며, 유형별 차이분석을 위해 카이스퀘어 검증과 분산분석(ANOVA) 방식을 적용하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 째, 구직단념청년은 구직준비도에 따라 총 4개의 유형(구직준비 부족형, 구직준비 완료형, 실 전역량 부족형, 심리적응 부족형)으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 구직준비 도 유형별 차이 분석 결과 학력수준이 높은 구직단념청년은 상대적으로 구직준비도가 높은 유형에 분류된 반면, 학력수준이 낮은 구직단념청년은 구직준비도가 낮은 유형에 분류되었다. 이와 같은 분석결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 제언을 제시하였다. 첫째, 구직단념자의 구직준 비도 유형에 따른 차별적인 프로그램 개발이 필요하다. 둘째, 구직단념청년의 구직준비도 유 형별 구직 및 취업과 관련된 심리적 변인 수준의 차이분석 연구가 시행되어야 한다. 셋째, 구직단념청년을 대상으로 운영 중인 정책과 유사집단을 대상으로 운영 중인 정책과의 연계를 강화하여 프로그램 효과성 강화 및 구직단념청년의 체계적인 관리가 이루어져야 한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to cluster types based on the job preparation level of young discouraged workers and derive differences of types according to demographic characteristics. To this end, hierarchical cluster analysis and k-means cluster analysis were performed on 805 young discouraged workers, and the chi-square test and Analysis of Variance(ANOVA) test were applied to analyze differences by type. The analysis results are as follows. First, young discouraged workers were classified into four cluster types (type of insufficient job preparation, type of insufficient hands-on competency, type of insufficient psychological adaptation, and type of job preparation completion) according to job preparation level. Second, as a result of analyzing the difference in job preparation by type according to demographic characteristics, young discouraged workers with higher educational backgrounds were classified as the type with relatively high job preparation level. while young discouraged workers with low educational backgrounds were classified as the types with low job preparation level. Based on these analysis results, the following suggestions were presented. First, it is necessary to develop a differentiated program according to the job preparation types of young discouraged workers. Second, a study on the difference in the level of psychological variables related to job search and employment by job preparation types of young discouraged workers should be conducted. Third, it is necessary to strengthen the linkage between policies for young discouraged workers, and policies for similar groups to enhance the effectiveness and systematic management of the program.
