국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 Q방법론을 활용하여 입학관계자들이 대학입학사정관의 역할을 어떻게 인식하고 있는지 분석하는 데 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 Q방법론을 활용하여 입학관계자들이 대학입학사정관의 역할을 어떻게 인식하고 있는지 분석하고, 이를 토대로 입학사정관의 인식유형을 분류하고 유형별 특성을 분석하는 데 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 Q방법론을 활용하였다. 연구대상은 대학입시와 관련된 대학입학사정관, 대학교직원, 고교교사, 교육청 대입지원관 등 대학입시 관계자 50명으로 선정하였다. Q표본 선정을 위한 자료 수집은 50명의 P표본을 대상으로 대학입학사정관의 역할에 대해 37개의 Q 진술문을 분류하도록 하였다. 분석결과 대학입학사정관에 대한 인식 유형은. 학생부종합전형 평가전문가, 학생 선발․유치 담당자, 대학내 입학정책 결정참여자, 공정한 평가를 위한 학생부종합전형운영․감시자 등 4개 유형으로 도출하였다. 입학사정관의 역할에 대한 다음과 같은 후속연구가 진행된다면 입학사정관에 대한 이해를 확장시킬 수 있을 것이다. 첫째, 입학사정관의 역할에 대해 구성원들의 배경변인에 따른 인식분석이 필요하다. 둘째, 입학사정관에 대한 기대역할 인식 연구를 통해 입학사정관의 역할에 대한 방향성을 제시할 필요하다. 셋째, 입학사정관의 역할에 대한 다양한 관점의 인식을 일반화하기 위한 양적연구가 필요하다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 대학입학사정관의 역할에 대한 연구와 대학입학사정관의 조직 운영 및 교육현장 적용에 확산될 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study is to analyze how admissions officials perceive the role of university admission officers using the Q-methodology. The research subjects were selected as 30 university entrance officials, including university admission officers, university staffs, high school teachers, and university entrance support officers of the Office of Education. Q-methodology was used for the research. The data collection for selecting Q samples required 50 P samples to classify 37 Q statements about the role of university admission officers. According to the analysis, the type of perception of university admissions officers is derived into four types: experts in comprehensive screening evaluation of student records, officials in charge of student selection, participation in determining admission policies in universities, and monitoring the operation of comprehensive screening of student records for fair evaluation. Based on the results of this study, we hope that this study will spread to the regulations on the role of university admissions officers and the application of university admissions officers to organizational operation and educational sites.
