교사와 학급환경 변인에 따른 중국 유아교사의 DAP 신념 및 교수실제에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 교사 변인(기관유형, 경력, 연령) 및 학급환경 변인(담임 유아연령, 담임 유아 수, 담임 교사 수)에 따른 중국 유아교사의 DAP 관련 신념과 교수실제에서의 차이를 밝히고자 중국 광저우시와 심천시 공립과 사립 유치원에 근무하는 교사 385명을 대상으로 연구하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, DAP에 적합한 신념 점수와 부적합한 신념 점수 모두 교사 변인 중 기관유형에 따른 차이는 유의하지 않지만, 경력과 연령에 따른 차이는 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 학급환경 변인 중 담임 유아연령 변인과 담임 교사 수 변인에 따른 차이는 유의하지만 담임 유아 수에 따른 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, DAP에 적합한 교수실제 점수와 부적합한 교수실제 점수 모두 교사 변인 중 기관유형 변인에 따른 차이가 유의하지 않지만 경력과 연령 변인에 따른 차이는 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 학급환경 변인 중 담임 유아연령과 담임 유아 수에 따른 차이는 유의하지만 담임 교사 수에 따른 차이는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중국 유아교사의 DAP 관련 신념에 따른 DAP 관련 교수실제의 차이를 알아본 결과, 적합한 신념에 따른 적합한 교수실제 점수와 부적합한 교수실제 점수 각각의 차이는 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 부적합한 신념에 따른 적합한 교수실제 점수와 부적합한 교수실제 점수 각각의 차이는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find out the differences between DAP(Developmentally Appropriate Practice) beliefs and teaching practice of early childhood Chinese teachers regarding teacher variables(type of centers, teaching experience, age) and classroom environment variables(children s age in charge, number of children in charge, number of teachers in a class). The subjects of this study consisted of 385 early childhood Chinese teachers in Kwangeow and Shimcheon, China. All teachers who participated in teacher education conferences in both Kwangeow and Shimcheon were asked to complete Teacher Belief Scale(TBS) and Instructional Activities Scale(IAS). The questionnaires were used to analyze the data. The result of this study were as follows. First, the degrees of DAP beliefs and developmentally inappropriate teaching practice beliefs were related to the variables of teachers experience and age, but not to the variables of type of centers, children s age in charge, and number of children in charge. Second, the degrees of developmentally appropriate teaching practice and developmentally inappropriate teaching practice were also related to the variables of teachers teaching experiences and age. Third, teachers with low degree of DAP beliefs showed high degrees both in developmentally appropriate teaching practice and developmentally inappropriate teaching practice. However, it was not found that degree of developmentally inappropriate teaching practice was not related to DAP beliefs and developmentally inappropriate beliefs.
