국문 초록

이 논문은 한국박물관학회의 창립 경과와 학술활동 중점 목표, 한국박물관협회와 협력 성과, 한국박물관학회 20년간 학술활동 성과와 게재 논문․설림 분석, 박물관학보의 KCI 등재와 박물관학․전통문화유산 학술논문 공모, 한국박물관학회의 당면과제와 지속가능한 박물관학회 활동을 모색하고자 하였다. 한국박물관학회는 박물관 및 미술관 진흥법 개정과 학예사 자격제도 시행을 위한 방안을 제시하였고, 전국 박물관인대회와 박물관학 학술대회를 공동주최․주관하였고, 2004 서울세계박물관대회 국제박물관학위원회 심포지엄을 공동주최․주관하였고, 매년 한국박물관국제학술대회를 박물관협회와 공동으로 주관하여 왔다. 또한 한국박물관 100년 기념사업과 한국박물관 개관 100주년 기념사업에 참가하였고, 박물관 전문인력 국제교류 활동에 참가하여 박물관 제도 개선과 학예활동 진흥, 학예인력 양성 등에 이바지하여 왔고, 박물관학 도서 출판과『박물관학보』발간 등을 통하여 박물관 종사자들과 박물관학 전문가들에게 전문지식과 실무경험, 노하우 등을 제공하고 공유하여 활용하는데 앞장서 왔다. 박물관학과 박물관기술학 분야에서 민관산학연단이 함께 지혜를 모으고 공동의 목표를 향해서 해야 할 과업 중에 하나가 박물관 전문인력 양성을 위한 박물관학 표준 교과과정을 개발하여 세계적 수준에서 박물관 사업과 활동을 수행할 수 있도록 기준을 제시하고 이를 준수하면서 활용할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This article attempted to explore the establishment process of the Korean Society of Museum Studies(KSOMS) and the main target of academic activities, the achievements of collaboration between the Korean Museum Association(KAM) and the KSOMS, the achievement and analysis of articles and bulletins printed of the KSOMS’s 20 years, the registration of citation index of the Institute of Korean Studies(KCI), the Academic Articles Contest of Traditional Cultural Heritage Studies and Museum Studies, the current assignments of the KSOMS, and sustainable activities of the KSOMS. The KSOMS suggested the proposal for execution of the amendment of the Museum and Art Museum Promotion Law and the Qualification Certification of Curatorship, co-organized the Korea Assembly of Museum Professionals and the Conference of Museum Studies, co-hosted and organized the ICOFOM Symposium of the Seoul ICOM General Conference 2004, and the KMA and the KSOMS have organized the International Conference of the KMA every year. In addition, the KSOMS participated in the centennial anniversary project of the Korea Museum’s establishment, the centennial anniversary of the Korea Museum s opening, has contributed in the amendment of museum instruments and the promotion of academic activities and the education of curatorial staffs, and has leaded to supply, share and utilize the expertise, practical experience, knowhow, etc. through the publication of books on museum studies and the publication of Bakmulgwanhakbo as Journal of Museum Studies to museum workers and experts. In the field of museology and museography, the KSOMS needs to gather the wisdom with citizens, governments, industries, schools, institutes, and groups, to develop standard curriculum for museology to educate the museum professionals as one of the tasks that needs to be done toward a common goal and needs to be used while presenting and complying with standards to enable museum projects and activities to be carried out at the global level.
