영문 초록

The sex-role concept consists of multidimensional elements, such as sex-role personality characteristics and must be measure separately. This study investigates the relative effects of sex-role personality characteristics and sex-role attitudes on marital satisfaction. Through this , it is hoped that specified theoretical perspectives about the relationship between sex-role concept and marital satisfaction can be proposed. The results of this study are as follows : 1. Androgynous personality characteristics and traditional sex-role attitudes influence on marital satisfaction positively than that of traditional attitude. 2. One cannot identify androgynous personality characteristics with modern sex role attitudes. So sex-role personality characteristics and sex-role attitudes are different dimensions of sex-role concept. 3. In sum, sex-role personality characteristics and sex-role attitudes must be measured separately. Additionally other issues are also discussed, such as renaming of androgynous characteristics, the relationship between modern sex-role attitudes and negative marital satisfaction, and other elements of sex-role concept.
