국문 초록

본 연구는 미래형 항공체계에 적합한 차세대 감항인증 방식으로 디지털 감항인증 개념을 고찰하고, 국내 적용 방안을 제안하였다. 기존 인증 체계는 법적 안정성과 국제 기준 연계 측면에서 강점을 가지나, 미래형 항공체계의 복잡성 증대와 소프트웨어 중심 구조에 대응하기에는 한계가 존재한다. 따라서, 디지털 트윈, 모델 기반 시스템 공학(MBSE), 자동화 검증, 생애주기 데이터 연계 등의 핵심 요소를 중심으로 디지털 감항인증의 구조를 제시하고, FAA, EASA 등 주요 기관의 시범 사례를 분석하였다. 국내 감항인증 체계의 기술적·제도적 한계를 진단하고, 절차 모델과 제도 개선 방향을 제시함으로써 디지털 감항인증의 도입 기반을 마련하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 디지털 감항인증 체계는 기존 인증의 비효율성을 극복할 수 있는 현실적 대안으로 평가된다. 향후 제도화·표준화·인력양성 등 후속 과제를 통해 국내 항공안전체계의 전략적 진화를 견인할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study explores the concept of digital airworthiness certification as a next-generation approach suited for future air systems and proposes strategies for its domestic implementation. While traditional certification systems possess strengths in legal stability and alignment with international standards, they face limitations in addressing the increasing complexity and software-centric architecture of advanced air platforms. This paper outlines the framework of digital certification focusing on key elements such as digital twin technology, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), automated verification, and lifecycle data integration. Case studies from major agencies including the FAA and EASA are analyzed. By diagnosing the technical and institutional limitations of Korea’s current airworthiness system and proposing procedural models and regulatory improvements, this study aims to establish a foundation for adopting digital certification. The findings suggest that the digital airworthiness certification system offers a realistic alternative to overcome inefficiencies in existing procedures. Future institutionalization, standardization, and workforce development will be essential for driving the strategic evolution of Korea’s aviation safety system.
