사계성 여름딸기 은하 육성

국문 초록

여름재배용 사계성 딸기 ‘은하’ (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) 품종은 2023년 농촌진흥청 국립식량과학원 고령지농업연구소에서 육성되었다. 2016년 경도가 높고 대과성인 사계성 딸기 품종 ‘Portola’을 모본으로 하고, 고온에서도 모양이 좋은 사계성딸기 품종 ‘고하’를 부본으로 하여 교배하였다. 2017년 파종 후육묘하여 4월 정식하였다. 정식 후 사계성, 과실크기, 경도, 당도 등을 조사하여 사계성이며, 경도가 높고 수량성이 높을 것으로 예측되는 1개체를 실생선발하였다. 본 계통을 여름작형에서2018년 우수계통 선발, 2019년 생산력검정, 2020년 특성검정, 2022년 지역적응성 검정을 수행하였다. 시험결과 수량이 많고대과성으로 품종육성 목표에 가장 근접한 이 계통을 ‘새봉 15호(17-14-135)’로 계통명을 부여하였다. 2023년 직무육성품종선정위원회에서 신품종으로 선정되어 ‘은하(Eunha)’로 명명되었다. ‘은하’의 초형은 반개장형이며, 초세가 강하다. 과실모양은 원추형이며, 과색은 적색이다. ‘은하’의 초장은 대조품종인‘고하’와 비슷하나 엽수가 더 많은 편이다. 재배기간 동안 발생된 화방수는 9.5개로 대조품종인 ‘고하’의 14.1개 보다 4.6개 더적었다. ‘은하’의 평균과중은 12.2 g으로 ‘고하’의 9.6 g보다 2.6 g 더 무겁다. 또한 당도는 10.9 °Brix로 ‘고하’의 9.9 °Brix 더 1.0 °Brix 더 높았다. ‘은하’의 상품수량은 27,499 ㎏·㏊-1로 ‘고하’ 의 17,911 ㎏·㏊-1보다 153% 증수되었다. 따라서 신품종 사계성 딸기 ‘은하’는 당도가 높고 고온기에 안정생산이 가능하여 농가보급 시 소득이 향상될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

‘Eunha’ is a new strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) cultivar, which was released by the Highland Agriculture Research Institute in 2023. The ‘Eunha’ cultivar originates from a 2016 cross between ‘Portola’ and ‘Goha,’ both of which exhibited excellent ever-bearing characteristics, including continuous flowering and large fruits under long-day and high temperature conditions. This new cultivar was initially named ‘Saebong No. 15’ after examining its characteristics and productivity during summer cultivation between 2017 and 2022. After regional adaptability tests, ‘Eunha’ was selected from ‘Saebong No. 15’ as an elite cultivar. The general characteristics of ‘Eunha’ include semi-upright type, and strength vigor in growth. The fruits are conical and of a red color. The plant height of ‘Eunha’ is simliar to that of the control variety, ‘Goha’, but it has a lot of number of leaves. The number of flower clusters of ‘Eunha’ was 9.5, 4.6 less than 14.1 of the control variety. The average fruit weight of ‘Eunha’ was 12.2 g, which was 2.6 g heavier than that of ‘Goha’. The soluble solid content of ‘Eunha’ was 10.9 °Brix, which was 1.0 °Brix higher than that of ‘Goha’. The marketable yield of ‘Eunha’ was 27,499 ㎏·㏊-1, 153 % more than that of ‘Goha’ with 17,911 ㎏·㏊-1. Therefore, the new cultivar of ever-bearing strawberry ‘Eunha’ is expected to improve income when supplying farms as it has high soluble solid content and can be produced stably at high temperatures.
