국문 초록

본 연구에서는 유아기 지속가능발전교육에 기반한 자원재활용 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 유아의 환경보전지식과 환경보전태도에 효과가 있는지 확인해 보고자 진행하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 유아기 지속가능발전교육에 기반한 자원재활용교육 프로그램은 교육목적 및 목표, 교육내용, 교수-학습 방법, 평가의 체계로 개발되었다. 둘째, 유아기 지속가능발전교육에 기반한 자원재활용 교육 프로그램을 유아교육 현장에서 적용하여 효과를 검증한 결과 환경보전지식과 환경보전태도를 증진하기 위한 지속가능발전교육에 기반한 자원재활용 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단이 기존의 만 5세 누리과정에 기반을 둔 활동을 적용한 통제집단보다 유아의 환경보전지식과 환경보전태도를 향상시켰다는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 후속 연구를 위한 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구는 K시에 소재한 C 유치원 만 5세 유아 41명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 둘째, 본 연구의 목적은 유아의 환경보전지식 및 환경보전태도 증진에 두고 있지만 후속연구에서는 지속가능발전교육에 기반한 자원재활용교육에 대한 다양한 접근을 통해 유아의 자원재활용교육이 활성화하기 위한 방안을 모색하는 연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted for the purpose of developing a resource recycling education program based on sustainable development education for young children, thereby increasing their understanding of environmental conservation knowledge and attitudes and establishing effective utilization plans. The subjects of the survey were Class 2 of 5-year-olds (21 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group) at C Kindergarten, an early childhood education institution located in kimhae City that did not participate in the preliminary study. As a result of the analysis, the mean of the pre-test, post-test, and adjusted post-test scores of young children's environmental conservation attitudes and knowledge by group was calculated, and the mean of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the comparison group. It was suggested that a resource recycling education program based on the early childhood sustainable development curriculum be organized as a regular course, and that environmental education programs be strengthened and environmental experience programs be expanded, and suggestions were made for future research.
