국문 초록

While textual historical materials, such as archives, retain irreplaceable significance, visual historical materials serve as important supplements, offering unique value in analyzing specific topics. The Political Department of the National Government’s Military Commission compiled and distributed a considerable number of image-based propaganda materials. These materials varied in content depending on the target audience. In the context of the actual war situation, the image propaganda produced by the Nationalist Army during the Anti-Japanese War was limited in effectiveness due to factors such as production constraints, dissemination methods, and the nation’s weak comprehensive strength. From a comparative perspective, the successful experience of the U.S. military demonstrates that in a total war, any form of propaganda campaign must be backed by strong national power to achieve positive results. Therefore, whether it was the image or textual propaganda produced and distributed by the Nationalist Army, these efforts represented active attempts to sustain the Anti-Japanese War and mobilize all possible resources to resist Japan, though their actual military value was limited.

영문 초록

以档案为代表的文字史料仍然拥有不可取代的重要性，但图像史料可做文字史料之重要补充，对于分析解读一些特殊选题，更有独特价值。国民政府军事委员会政治部，编印、发行了相当数量的图像类宣传品，这些宣传品，根据受众的不同，所展现的内容也不同。就战争实际情形来看，抗日战场上国民党军制作的图像宣传品，受制作数量、传播方式、国力孱弱等因素影响，未能发挥出理想效果。从比较视野看，美军的成功经验证明，在全面战争中任何形式的宣传战都必须以强大国力为后盾，才能取得积极成效。因此国民党军制作、散发的图像宣传品也好，文字宣传品也罢，都是努力实现持久抗日，以一切手段发挥抗日力量而进行的积极尝试，实际军事价值有限。
