청소년의 부모방임 피해가 재산범죄 피해에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

부모의 잘못된 양육태도는 과거와 마찬가지로 2021년인 현재에도 지속적으로 나타나고 있는 사회문제이다. 이미 여러 선행연구를 통해 부모의 부정적인 양육태도가 자녀들의 일탈, 비행, 범죄와 관련하여 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있다는 결과가 있다. 그 중 최근 ‘라면 형제 사건’, ‘정인이 사건’ 을계기로 부모의 학대 유형 중 방임에 대한 관심도가 증가하고 있으며 방임으로 인해 발생되는 부정적 영향이 관심거리로 대두되고 있다. 기존 선행연구들은 방임의 부정적 영향을 검증하기 위하여 부모로부터 경험한 방임이 자녀의 범죄피해에 미치는 영향에 관해 연구하였으며 모두 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 방임이 범죄 피해나 가해에 미치는 영향과 관련한 여러 연구들이 있음에도 불구하고 재산범죄 피해에 관련한 연구는 많지 않으며, 특히 청소년들이 겪는 재산범죄 피해를 대상으로 한 연구는 거의없다. 재산범죄 역시 심각한 범죄의 한 유형이며 인생의 중요한 시기인 청소년시기의 범죄피해는 부정적인 영향이 매우 크므로 적절한 대책이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 형사정책연구원의 2014 청소년 범죄피해 조사 자료를 이용하여 부모의 방임이청소년의 재산범죄 피해에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 연구 결과는 청소년이 겪은 부모로부터의 방임은 청소년의 재산범죄 피해에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 결론에서 이를바탕으로 청소년의 재산범죄 피해를 예방하기 위해 학교, 쉼터, SNS를 이용한 프로그램의 개발과가정 내 방임을 예방하기 위한 방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The wrong parenting attitude of parents is a social problem that continues to appear in the present, 2021, as in the past. There is already a result of several previous studies that the negative parenting attitude of parents has a negative effect on their children's deviance and crime. Among them, the recent “Ramen Brothers Incident” and “Jeong In Incident” have led to a growing interest in neglect among the types of parental abuse, and the negative effects caused by neglect are emerging as a concern. In order to verify the negative effects of neglect, previous studies have studied the effect of neglect experienced by parents on their children's crime damage, and all have a positive effect. Despite the fact that there are many studies on the effects of neglect on crime damage or perpetrate, there are few studies on property crime damage, especially on property crime damage suffered by adolescents. Property crime is also a type of serious crime, and crime damage during adolescence, which is an important period in life, has a very large negative effect, so appropriate measures are needed. Therefore, this study investigated the effect of parental neglect on the damages of property crimes of adolescents using the data of the 2014 juvenile crime damage survey conducted by the Institute for Criminal Policy. The results of the study show that the neglect of parents suffered by adolescents has a positive effect on the property crimes damage of adolescents. Therefore, in conclusion, in order to prevent damage to property crimes of adolescents, the development of programs using schools, shelters, and SNS, and measures to prevent neglect in the home were proposed.
