국문 초록

이 연구는 기술창업기업의 ESG경영이 지속가능과 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 기술창업기업을 대상으로 하였다. 기술창업기업의 일반적인 특성으로는 회사 연령은 5-6년 107개(28.8%), 업종은 소매업은 126개(34.0%), 회사 매출은 1억 미만 142개(38.3%), 회사의 직원 수 20명 이하 36.9개(36.9%), 회사거주지 경기도 151개(40.7%)으로 가장 높게 조사되었다. 이 연구결과를 도출하기 위해서 SPSS 25.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 타당성을 검증 후 이에 허용된 변인을 대상으로 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 기술경쟁력과 ESG경영, 지속가능, 기업성과 간의 효과를 검정한 결과는 다음과 같이 나타났다. ESG경영(β=.296, p<0.01)은 지속가능에 정(+)의 영향, 지속가능(β=.216, p<0.01)은 기업성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. ESG경영이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에서 지속가능의 매개효과는 ESG경영이 지속가능(β=.351, p<0.01)에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. ESG경영은 기업성과(β=.248, p<0.01)에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 직접효과에서 ESG경영은 기업성과(β=.152, p<0.01), 지속가능이 기업성과(β=.272, p<0.01)에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 부분적인 매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이 과정에서 간접효과는 0.137의 효과가 있는 것으로 나타나났다. 연구결과를 간략하게 요약하면 기술을 바탕으로 창업한 기업은 ESG경영이 지속가능에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. ESG경영은 기업성에 미치는 영향에서 지속가능은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 기술창업기업은 ESG경영이 기업의 성과를 높이는 주요 변인임을 확인되었다. 기술창업기업의 경영자나 관리자들은 기업성과를 높이는 데 ESG경영이 우선적으로 수행되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study targeted technology start-ups to determine the impact of their ESG management on sustainability and corporate performance. The general characteristics of technology start-ups were that the company age was 5-6 years (107, 28.8%), the industry was retail(126, 34.0%), the company's sales were less than KRW 100 million (142, 38.3%), the number of company employees was 20 or less (36.9%), and the company's place of residence was Gyeonggi-do(151, 40.7%). In order to derive the results of this study, the validity was verified using the SPSS 25.0 statistical program, and the following results were derived for the variables allowed. The results of testing the effects between technological competitiveness, ESG management, sustainability, and corporate performance were as follows. ESG management (β=.296, p<0.01) was confirmed to have a positive impact on sustainability, and sustainability (β=.216, p<0.01) had a positive impact on corporate performance. The mediating effect of sustainability in the impact of ESG management on corporate performance was found to have a significant positive impact on sustainability (β=.351, p<0.01). ESG management was found to have a significant positive impact on corporate performance (β=.248, p<0.01). In the direct effect, ESG management was found to have a positive effect on corporate performance (β=.152, p<0.01) and sustainability had a positive effect on corporate performance (β=.272, p<0.01), confirming a partial mediating effect. In this process, the indirect effect was found to have an effect of 0.137. To briefly summarize the research results, it was confirmed that ESG management affects the sustainability of companies founded based on technology. It was confirmed that sustainability has a mediating effect on ESG management's impact on corporate performance. For technology start-ups, ESG management has been confirmed to be a major variable that improves corporate performance. Managers and managers of technology start-ups should prioritize ESG management to improve corporate performance.
