Objective: This study aimed to explore the effects and clinical applicability of a digital-based cognitive training program on visual perception, cognitive function, and emotional responses in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Method: Three children aged 7-8 years diagnosed with ASD participated in a total of 16 sessions of the LangCog program over eight weeks. Pre- and post-intervention assessments included the Korean- Developmental Test of Visual Perception-3 (K-DTVP-3) and the Korean version of the Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children, Second Edition (K-ABC-II). Emotional and behavioral responses were qualitatively assessed through clinical observation and caregiver reports. Results: All participants showed improvement in visual perception, including GVP, VMI, and MRVP as well as in sequential processing, simultaneous processing, and learning ability. Emotional and behavioral improvements, including enhanced emotional regulation and task engagement, were observed. Tasks related to emotion coaching and understanding social situations appeared to contribute to these changes. Conclusion: These findings suggest that digital cognitive training may enhance both cognitive and emotional functioning in children with ASD. Further studies using controlled designs are necessary to verify its efficacy and support clinical application.
