본 연구는 유아교사의 기본심리욕구가 교수창의성에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 성장마인드셋, 교수효능감 및 교수몰입이 어떠한 매개 역할을 하는지를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 I 광역시, G 도 및 J 특별자치도 소재 유아교육기관(어린이집, 유치원)에 재직 중인 유아교사 303명을 대상으로 유아교사의 기본심리욕구, 성장마인드셋, 교수효능감, 교수몰입 및 교수창의성을 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 경로분석 방법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 유아교사의 기본심리욕구는 교수효능감과 교수몰입을 각각 매개하여 교수창의성에 유의미한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 기본심리욕구는 성장마인드셋과 교수효능감, 성장마인드셋과 교수몰입, 교수효능감과 교수몰입 각각을 순차적으로 매개하여 교수창의성에 유의미한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 기본심리욕구와 교수창의성의 관계에서 성장마인드셋, 교수효능감, 교수몰입의 순차적 매개효과도 유의미하였다. 이는 기본심리욕구가 단순히 개인의 내적 상태에 머무르지 않고, 신념과 태도를 통해 창의적인 교수행동으로 확장될 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 유아교사의 창의적 교수활동을 촉진하기 위해서는 기본심리욕구의 충족뿐 아니라, 이를 지지하는 신념 체계와 교수 태도의 형성이 중요함을 강조한다. 본 연구의 학술적, 실천적 시사점을 논의하고, 향후 연구의 방향성을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the mediating roles of belief factors (growth mindset and teaching efficacy) and attitudinal factors (teaching engagement) in the relationship between early childhood teachers' basic psychological needs and their teaching creativity. To achieve this, data were collected from 303 early childhood teachers working in daycare centers and kindergartens located in I Metropolitan City, G Province, and J Special Self-Governing Province. The study measured variables including basic psychological needs, growth mindset, teaching efficacy, teaching engagement, and teaching creativity. The collected data were analyzed using path analysis. The results indicated that early childhood teachers' basic psychological needs significantly influenced teaching creativity through the independent mediating effects of teaching efficacy and teaching engagement. Furthermore, sequential mediation pathways were identified: from basic psychological needs through growth mindset and teaching efficacy, growth mindset and teaching engagement, and teaching efficacy and teaching engagement, all of which significantly affected teaching creativity. Notably, a serial mediation effect involving growth mindset, teaching efficacy, and teaching engagement in the link between basic psychological needs and teaching creativity was also found to be significant. These findings suggest that basic psychological needs extend beyond internal states and can be transformed into creative teaching behaviors through the influence of beliefs and attitudes. The study emphasizes the importance of not only fulfilling early childhood teachers' basic psychological needs but also fostering belief systems and attitudes that support creative teaching practices. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed, and directions for future research are proposed.
