국문 초록

본 연구는 자원봉사 수요처의 지원이 자원봉사 지속성에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 자원봉사 만족도의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 수행되었다. 안양시 1365 자원봉사포털에 등록된 자원봉사자 369명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 데이터는 IBM SPSS 28.0과 PROCESS Macro 4.2를 활용해 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 자원봉사 수요처의 체계적이고 지속적인 지원이 자원봉사 지속성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 자원봉사 만족도는 수요처 지원과 자원봉사 지속성 간의 관계에서 중요한 완전매개 역할을 수행하며, 만족도가 높은 봉사자는 활동 지속 가능성이 크게 증가하였다. 이는 자원봉사자가 활동에서 성취감과 정서적 안정감을 느낄수록 지속성이 강화됨을 의미한다. 본 연구는 자원봉사 활동의 지속성과 만족도를 높이기 위한 체계적 지원과 정책적 방안을 제시하며, 자원봉사 환경 개선을 위한 학문적·실천적 기초를 제공한다. 연구의 한계로는 단면적 데이터와 안양시라는 지역적 한정성을 들 수 있으며, 향후 연구에서는 다양한 지역과 장기적 데이터를 포함하여 분석을 확장할 필요가 있다. 이를 통해 자원봉사 활동의 질적 향상과 양적 확대를 도모하고, 정책 수립에 필요한 실질적 근거를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyze the impact of support from volunteer demand organizations on volunteer retention and to verify the mediating effect of volunteer satisfaction. A survey was administered to 369 volunteers registered in the 1365 Volunteer Portal of Anyang City, and the data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 28.0 and PROCESS Macro 4.2. The results indicated that systematic and continuous support from volunteer demand organizations had a positive effect on volunteer retention. Furthermore, volunteer satisfaction played a significant full mediating role in the relationship between organizational support and volunteer retention. Volunteers with high satisfaction levels demonstrated a significantly higher likelihood of continuing their activities. This implies that when volunteers experience a sense of accomplishment and emotional stability through their activities, their retention is strengthened. This study provides systematic support measures and policy suggestions to enhance the continuity and satisfaction of volunteer activities and offers both academic and practical foundations for improving the volunteer environment. However, this study has limitations, such as the use of cross-sectional data and the regional specificity of Anyang City. Future studies should include data from diverse regions and longitudinal perspectives to expand the analysis. This will help to improve the quality and scale of volunteer activities and provide practical evidence for policy-making.
