재한 외국인 대학생의 교수자의 호감도와 학습효과, 강의 만족도 간의 구조적 관계 : 베트남·우즈베키스탄 유학생을 대상으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 재한 외국인 대학생을 대상으로 교수자의 호감도와 학습효과, 강의 만족도 간의 구조적 관계를 실증 연구하였다. 2024년 10월 4일부터 11월 1일까지 대구·경북소재 D 대학에 유학 중인 베트남·우즈베키스탄 대학생들을 대상으로 조사가 진행되었으며, 설문지 240부 중 유효한 응답 204부를 연구에 활용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교수자의 호감도 요인 중 개인적 특성은 학습효과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 친숙성은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 둘째, 교수자의 호감도는 강의 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 학습효과는 강의 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 외국인 유학생들을 효과적으로 지도하기 위해 대학의 본연의 기능인 학습효과를 높일 수 있는 방안으로 교수자의 호감도 요인 중 개인적 특성이 중요함을 인식하였고, 또한 교수자의 호감도는 교수자에 대한 강의 만족도로 이어지는 상승작용이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 외국인 유학생들을 지도하는 교수자들에게는 교수자의 호감도를 높일 수 있는 성실함, 편안함 등의 자질이 더 요구되며, 이에 교수자들에게 서비스 마인드, 글로벌 매너 등의 교육이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study empirically investigated the structural relationship between professor favorability, learning effectiveness, and lecture satisfaction for foreign college students in Korea. From October 4 to November 1, 2024, a survey was conducted on Vietnamese and Uzbek college students studying at D University in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, and 204 valid responses out of 240 questionnaires were used in the study. The results of the study are as follows. First, among the factors of professor favorability, personal characteristics had a significant positive effect on learning effectiveness, while familiarity had no significant effect. Second, professor favorability had a significant effect on lecture satisfaction. Third, learning effectiveness had a positive effect on lecture satisfaction. Based on these research results, it was recognized that personal characteristics among the factors of professor favorability were important as a way to enhance learning effectiveness, which is the original function of universities, in order to effectively guide foreign students, and it was also found that professor favorability had a synergistic effect leading to lecture satisfaction for the professor. Therefore, it is necessary to have more qualities such as sincerity and comfort that can increase the likeability of professors who teach international students, and it suggests that professors need to be educated in service mindset and global manners
