국문 초록

러시아에서의 한국 연구는 오랜 역사를 가지고 있다. 이 논문에서는 러시아에서 한국학이 정치적, 사회적 과정과 연계하여 형성되고 발전해 온 오랜 과정을 추적한다. 연구의 초점은 러시아 학자들에 의한 한국 전체(대한민국과 조선민주주의인민공화국)의 역사, 사회, 정치, 국제 관계를 다룬 연구에 있다. 특히 20세기 후반 이후의 상황이 중점적으로 다루어진다. 구체적으로 본론에서는 러시아에서의 한국학 발전의 주요 단계를 정의하고, 각 단계에서의 간략한 특징을 제시한다. 단계마다 한국학의 발전 수준을 결정짓는 가장 중요한 연구들과 러시아, 소련 및 소련 해체 이후 시기의 저명한 학자들의 이름이 언급된다. 이를 통해 한국학 연구가 한국이라는 대상 국가에 대한 이해를 확장하고 심화하는 과정으로서의 학문적 발전으로 나타났음을 보여준다. 특히 현재 한국학의 상태에 주목하며 주요 연구 방향과 그 성과에 대해 논의한다. 결론에서는 러시아 한국학이 깊은 전통과 학문적 학파들을 형성했으며, 이러한 학파들은 뛰어난 학자들을 결집했고, 이들의 노력으로 러시아에서 한국 민족의 역사와 문화에 대한 이해가 개선되고 있음을 지적할 것이다.

영문 초록

The study of Korea in Russia has a long history. The article attempts to trace the long process of origin, formation and development of Korean studies in Russia in the context of political and social processes taking place in the country and the world. The author focuses on the works of Russian scholars on the history, social status, politics, and international relations of Korea as a whole, and the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea since the second half of the twentieth century. The main stages of development of Russian Korean studies are identified and briefly characterized. In each stage, the author identifies the most significant works that determined the level of development of Korean studies and lists the names of prominent figures of Russian, Soviet and post-Soviet Korean studies. The author shows the development of science as a process of expanding and deepening the understanding of the country under study. Special attention is paid to its current state: the main directions of research and their results. The main conclusion is that academic Korean studies has developed deep traditions and scientific schools that unite outstanding scholars, whose efforts improve the understanding of the history and culture of the Korean people in Russia.
