국문 초록

본 연구는 우리나라 증권산업의 발전 과정과 한국의 증권산업과 대기업과의 관계를 문헌적 연구 방법과 실증적 연구 방법을 병행하여 분석하였다. 우리나라 증권산업의 발전과정을 증권산업 관련 법의 변화에 따라 4단계로 살펴보았다. 한국 증권산업의 태동기는국내 증권산업의 초기 발전을 형성한 다양한 역사적 사건, 규제 변화, 경제적 어려움의시기이다. 한국 증권산업의 육성기는 한국 증권산업 성장, 도약과 발전을 위한 기반을 이루었다. 증권산업의 성장기는 눈부신 성장과 고도화와 급속한 경제 발전을 뒷받침하는 중추적인 역할을 하였고 시장 역활, 규제, 금융 인프라 등이 크게 변화하여 한국 증권 시장이 글로벌 무대로 도약하는 계기가 되었다. 증권산업의 국제화기에는 1992년 외국인의국내 주식 직접투자가 허용되고 증권산업의 국제화가 시작되었다. 최근 증권산업은 온라인 거래, 블록체인 기술, 핀테크 혁신을 도입하는 등 디지털화를 수용하고 발전하고 있다. COVID-19 이후 녹색 채권 발행, 지속 가능한 금융 생태계 개발 등 녹색 금융과 지속가능한 증권산업이 되도록 적극적으로 추진해 왔다. 증권산업의 발전과 대기업과의 관계를 2012년 1월 6일부터 2023년 2월 28일까지 대형주와 증권주 주간 시계열 자료를 사용하여 분석한 결과, 대형주 지수의 변화는 증권주지수의 변화에 10% 유의수준에서 그레인저 인과관계가 있는 것으로 나타나 대형주 지수의 변화는 증권주 지수의 변화에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구의 시사점은 우량기업과 대기업뿐만이 아니라 중기업과 소기업에도 증권산업을통한 자본조달과 자본구조의 건전화로 지속적 증권산업의 선진화가 필요하다. 본 연구의한계점은 기업 내부 정보와 증권 시장 자료 수집의 한계이다.

영문 초록

This study examines the development process of Korea’s securities industry and analyzes the relationship between Korea’s securities industry and large corporations. The development process of Korea’s securities industry was examined in four stages according to changes in securities industry-related laws. The embryonic period of the Korean securities industry was a period of various historical events, regulatory changes, and economic difficulties that shaped the early development of the domestic securities industry. The growth period of the Korean securities industry laid the foundation for growth, leap forward, and development of the Korean securities industry. The growth period of the securities industry played a pivotal role in supporting remarkable growth, advancement, and rapid economic development, and significant changes in market roles, regulations, and financial infrastructure served as an opportunity for the Korean securities market to leap onto the global stage. The results of analyzing the development of the securities industry and its relationship with large corporations using weekly time series data of large stocks and securities stocks index show that changes in the large-cap stock index are 10% significant to changes in the securities stock index. The implications of this study are that not only blue-chip companies and large corporations, but also medium-sized companies and small businesses need to raise capital through the securities industry and improve their capital structure. The limitations of this study is the lack of collecting internal company information and stock market data.
