국문 초록

본 연구는 원효의 일미(一味) 사상을 중심으로 한국 차문화와 선(禪)의 철학적 관계를 조명하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 문헌 연구를 통해 원효방의 실재성과 차문화와의 연관성을 검토하고, 수행과 차문화가 결합된 장소로서의 가능성을 탐색하며, 향후 다각적인 연구의 필요성을 제시하였다. 또한, 다선일미(茶禪一味)의철학적 기반으로서 원효 철학의 핵심 개념인 일미 사상을 분석하였다. 일미는 불이(不二)의 원리에 기반하여 모든 존재를 평등하게 바라보는 사유를 제공하며, 『금강삼매경론(金剛三昧經論)』의 「무상법품(無相法品)」과 「무생행품(無生行品)」을 각각 무분별과 무집착의 실천으로 해석하였다. 이를 차문화의 제다(製茶)와 음다(飮茶) 과정과 연결하여 그 수행적 의미를 논의하고, 차를 통한 수행이 평등한 시선을 형성하며, 인식 주체와 대상의 경계를 초월하는 과정이 될 수 있음을 탐구하였다. 나아가, 이러한 논의를 현대적으로 확장하여 다선일미가 수행과한국 차문화의 철학적 토대로 기능할 가능성을 제시하고, 그 가치를 재조명하는 데 연구의 의의를 두었다.

영문 초록

This study examines the philosophical relationship between Korean tea culture and Seon, focusing on Wonhyo’s Ilmi Thought. Through text analysis, this study investigates the historical validity of Wonhyo’s Cave and its connection to tea culture, exploring its potential role as a site where meditative practice and tea culture intersect. Additionally, it highlights the need for further multidimensional research on this subject. As a philosophical foundation of Daseon Ilmi, Wonhyo’s Ilmi Thought is based on the principle of Buli, offering an egalitarian perspective that perceives all existence as inherently interconnected. This study examines the passuses of Musangbeoppum and Museanghaengpum in Geumgang Sammaegyeongron, interpreting them as practical applications of non-discrimination and non-attachment. It links these principles to the processes of tea production and consumption, arguing that the meditative aspect of tea-making fosters mindfulness and strengthens the awareness of interdependence between the practitioner and the world. Furthermore, this study modernizes the discussion by exploring the potential of Daseon Ilmi as a philosophical foundation for both Korean tea culture and its practice, thereby re-evaluating its significance, and shedding new light on its value.
