국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 언론사의 뉴스를 분석할 수 있는 빅카인즈 사이트를 활용하여 코로나19 이전과 이후, 세대별(청년, 중장년, 노인)로 고독사 키워드를 비교 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 정책적 시사점을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 분석 범위는 2010년부터 2024년까지 보도된 고독사 관련 기사이며, 트렌드 분석, 관계도 분석, 연관어 분석을 통해 보도자료의 변화 양상을 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 코로나19 이후 고독사에 대한 사회적 관심이 전 세대로 확산되었고, 특히 중장년과 청년층 관련 보도가 증가하며 다양한 키워드가 새롭게 등장하였다. 이 같은 변화는 고독사가 특정 세대의 문제가 아닌 사회 전반의 구조적 문제로 확장되고 있음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study compares and analyzes loneliness-related keywords across generations(youth, middle age, and older adulthood) before and after COVID-19, using the Big Kines website, which aggregates and analyzes news from domestic media outlets. The analysis covers articles published between 2010 and 2024 and employs trend, co-occurrence network, and keyword association analysis to examine shifts in media coverage. The results reveal that public and media attention toward solitary deaths has significantly expanded across all generations since the COVID-19 outbreak, with particularly notable growth in coverage related to youth and middle-aged groups. These findings suggest that solitary death is becoming a broad structural issue affecting multiple generations.
