국문 초록

본 논문의 목적은, 이중적 은혜의 동시성을 우리의 구원이 완전하고 확실한 구원임을 강조하는 강조의 동시성으로 읽어야 함을 제안하는 데 있다. 칼빈은 이중적 은혜의 동시성을 말했으나, 칭의의 우선성도 주장했다. 칼빈은 이중적 은혜의 첫 번째 순서는 칭의이고, 두 번째 순서는 중생이라는 것을 명확하게 언급했다. 칼빈에 따르면, 칭의는 성화의 기초이다. 칼빈은 로마 가톨릭의 의화교리를 비판하면서, 행위의 공로를 강조하여 우리의 구원을 불확실하고 불완전하게 만들고, 심지어 믿음을 파괴한다고 비판했다. 우리 구원의 모든 의는 오직 그리스도 안에 있다. 오직 그리스도만이 우리 구원의 공로이다. 그리스도와의 연합 가운데, 그리스도께서성취하신 모든 의가 우리에게 전가된다. 칼빈은 오직 믿음으로, 그리스도와의 연합 안에서, 그리스도의 의가 우리에게 전가되어 우리의 인격뿐 아니라 우리의 행위 역시 의롭게 된다고 주장한다. 그리스도의 의는 고통당하신 순종과 율법을 행하신 순종, 즉 완전한 순종을 통해 성취된 의(義)다. 그리스도의 의는 영원하신 하나님의 완전한 의(義)다. 우리를 구원하는 의는 완전한 의(義)다. 하나님은 우리에게 완전하고 확실한 구원을 주시는데, 특히 우리에게 양자의 영을 부여하셔서 우리 구원의 확실성을 보증하신다. 이중적 은혜의 동시성을 완전하고 확실한 구원을 주시는 것에 대한 강조의 동시성으로 읽을 때, 우리는 칭의의 우선성을 침범하지 않게 된다.

영문 초록

This article aims to suggest that the simultaneity of twofold grace should be read as a simultaneity of emphasis, emphasizing that our salvation is perfect and certain. Calvin stated not only the simultaneity of twofold grace, but also the priority of justification. Calvin clearly stated that the first order of the twofold grace is justification, and the second one is regeneration. According to Calvin, justification is the foundation of sanctification. Calvin criticized the justification supported by Roman Catholic doctrine, saying that it emphasized the merit of works, making our salvation uncertain and incomplete and even destroying faith. All the righteousness of our salvation lies in Christ alone. Solely Christ is the merit of our salvation. In the union with Christ, all the righteousness that Christ accomplished is imputed to us. Calvin argues that only by faith, in the union with Christ, the righteousness of Christ is imputed to us; as a result, not only our person but also our works become righteous. The righteousness of Christ is a righteousness accomplished through both passive obedience and active obedience which is the perfect obedience. The righteousness of Christ is the perfect righteousness of the eternal God. The righteousness that saves us is the perfect righteousness. God gives us perfect and certain salvation, and especially He guarantees the certainty of our salvation by granting us the Spirit of adoption. When we read the simultaneity of the twofold grace as the simultaneity of the emphasis on providing perfect and certain salvation, we do not violate the priority of justification.
