국문 초록

본 연구에서는 특수학교(급) 환경에서 자폐성 장애 학생에 대한 사회성 그룹 중재를 진행하는 과정에서 중재의 실현 가능성과 특수교사와 치료사 간 협력 실제, 중재의 지속을 위한필요 요인을 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 메타버스 사회성 중재 프로그램을 개발하고, 운영에 참여한 8명의 전문가(치료사 4명, 특수교사 4명)를 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하고 내용을 분석하였다. 그 결과 5개 대주제와 22개의 하위주제가 도출되었으며, 대주제는 ‘학교 환경에서의 새로운 사회성 중재 필요성’, ‘학교 환경에서의 메타버스 사회성 중재의 실현 가능성’, ‘메타버스 사회성 중재의 우려 사항’, ‘특수교사와 치료사 간 협력의 실제와 인식 변화’, ‘메타버스 사회성 중재의 지속 도입을 위한 필요요건’ 이었다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 메타버스 기반 사회성 중재 개발과 운영이 갖는 시사점과 지속 가능성을 위한 방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study examines the feasibility of social skill interventions for students with autism spectrum disorder in special education settings, the collaboration between special education teachers and therapists, and the implementations required for intervention sustainability. A metaverse-based social skills program is developed and implemented, followed by in-depth interviews with eight experts (four therapists and four special education teachers). The major themes identified are (1) the necessity for new social skills interventions in schools, (2) the feasibility of metaverse-based interventions, (3) concerns regarding metaverse-based interventions, (4) the collaboration dynamics between special education teachers and therapists, and (5) key requirements for sustaining school-oriented metaverse social skills interventions. The findings highlight the implications of developing and sustaining metaverse-based social skills interventions in schools.
