국문 초록

우리 군은 지금껏 경험하지 못한 세대 간 갈등이라는 위기에 직면했다. 기존의 군 구성원들은 군 조직과 충돌하는 새로운 구성원들에게 부담을 느끼고 있으며 새로운 구성원들은 사회와는 다른 군의 경직된 조직문화에 두려움을 느끼고 있다. 이러한 현실을 극복하고 창끝 부대의 전투력 재고를 위하여 연구자는 창끝 부대의 간부들이 서번트 리더십을 기반으로 한 지휘방식을 활용하는 것을 제언한다. 창끝 부대에서 복무하는 장병들은 서번트 리더십을 통하여 조직몰입을 경험할 수 있으며 조직 내에서 자신들의 역할을 자연스럽게 경험하고 조직의 의사소통 방식에 유연하게 적응하며 더욱 즐겁게 군 생활을 할 수 있을 것이다. 창끝 부대에서 간부들이 서번트 리더십을 발휘하기 위해서 리더십 개발프로그램 시행, 장병들에게 적절한 권한위임과 능력개발을 위한 지원, 상급자와 하급자간의 리더십 활성화, 장병들의 스트레스 해소를 위한 전문적인 관리 시행 등의 구체적인 시행방안이 필요할 것으로 판단한다.

영문 초록

The Korean military has faced a crisis of intergenerational conflict that has never been experienced before. Existing military members are feeling burdened by new members who conflict with the military organization, and new members are afraid of the rigid organizational culture of the military that is different from society. To overcome this reality and reconsider the combat power of the spearhead unit, the researcher suggests that the leaders of the spearhead unit use a command method based on servant leadership. Through servant leadership, soldiers serving in the spearhead unit will be able to experience organizational commitment, experience their roles within the organization, adapt flexibly to the way the organization communicates, and have a more enjoyable military life. In order for executives to demonstrate servant leadership in the spearhead unit, specific implementation measures such as implementing a leadership development program, support for appropriate delegation and ability development for soldiers, revitalizing leadership between superiors and subordinates, and implementing professional management to relieve stress on soldiers are necessary.
