차기 지뢰 체계의 필요성과 개발 방향 및 전술적 운용방안에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 차기 지뢰 체계가 갖춰야 할 4가지 조건과 전술적 운용방안에 대해 제시하였다. 과거 재래식 지뢰 체계는 민간인 피해, 해체 곤란 등의 이유로 여러 조약과 협정을 통해 사용이 제한되어왔다. 그러나 이번 우크라이나-러시아 전쟁을 통해 대규모 전면전에서 재래식 지뢰의 효과가 증명되었고, 도시지역작전처럼 지역 점령이 중요한 전장에 적합한 장애물이 필요해지기 시작했다. 하지만 기존 장애물 체계인 재래식 지뢰, 살포식 지뢰, 지능형 탄약체계는 이러한 현대 전장에 운용되기에는 일부 제한사항이 존재한다. 이러한 전장 상황과 기존 장애물 체계의 한계를 극복하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 차기 지뢰 체계가 갖춰야 할 4가지 개발 방향을 정리하였다. 1) 지형에 의한 운용 제약이 적어야 한다. 2) 원격활성화 혹은 피아식별 능력을 보유해야 한다. 3) 대량 생산이 가능해야 한다. 4) 네트워크화를 통해 원격 설치 및 해체, 원격 활성화, 원격 감시 등이 가능해야 한다. 다음으로 현재 기술로 전술한 4가지 조건을 만족시킬 수 있는지 관련 연구를 통해 확인하였다. 그 후 이러한 차기 지뢰 체계를 소대급 이하에서 운용방안, 중대~대대급 운용방안, 도시지역작전에서 운용방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, 4 conditions that future landmine system has to meet and tactical uses of future landmine system are suggested. For decades conventional landmines have being prohibited by several treaties and conventions because of civilian casualties and difficulties on disabling. But by Russo-Ukrainian war, conventional landmine’s effectiveness on large-scale warfare is proved. And necessity of obstacle system that suited for battlefields which regional occupation is important like urban operation is getting higher. However issued obstacle systems like conventional mines, scatter mines and intelligent ammunition systems have limits to be used on modern battlefields. To overcome modern battlefields and limits of issued landmine systems, In this paper, 4 conditions that future landmine system has to meet are suggested. First, operation limits by terrains have to be minimized. Second, remote activation/deactivation or identification of friendly or foe are possible. Third, massive productions is possible. Forth, remote emplacement and collection, remote activation and deactivation and long distant surveillance etc. are possible by network system. After that I checked possibility whether 4 conditions could be met by modern technology by relative studies. Lastly, I suggested future landmine tactics on under platoon size level, company to battalion size level and urban operation.
