국문 초록

본 연구는 베트남 쩐(陳) 왕조(1225-1400)의 국가 체제 정비와 대 중국 정책을 분석하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 쩐 왕조는 리 왕조의 쇠퇴 속에서 등장하여 중앙집권 체제를 확립하고, 관료제 개편과 군사력 강화, 농업 및 치수 사업 등을 통해 국가 내부를 안정시켰다. 대외적으로는 남송과 조공-책봉 관계를 유지하며 국제적 정통성을 확보하고, 몽골(원)의 침입에 대비하여 세 차례 침공을 방어함으로써 독립을 지켰다. 또한 점성, 태국 등 주변국과의 외교에서도 실리적인 전략을 취했다. 쩐 왕조의 정책은 베트남의 독립성과 정체성을 강화하고 이후 국가 발전의 토대를 마련한 중요한 전환점으로 평가된다. 본 연구는 이러한 정책적 특징과 역사적 의의를 규명하는 데 초점을 둔다.

영문 초록

This study focuses on analyzing the consolidation of the state system and Sino-Vietnamese policies during the Trần dynasty (1225-1400) in Vietnam. Emerging amid the decline of the Lý dynasty, the Trần dynasty established a centralized system of governance, stabilizing the country through reforms in the bureaucratic system, strengthening of military power, and implementation of agricultural and flood control projects. Externally, the dynasty maintained a tributary relationship with the Southern Song to secure international legitimacy, while successfully defending against three Mongol (Yuan) invasions to preserve national independence. It also pursued pragmatic diplomacy with neighboring states such as Champa and Siam. The Trần dynasty’s policies are regarded as a crucial turning point that strengthened Vietnam’s independence and national identity, laying the foundation for future state development. This study aims to clarify the characteristics and historical significance of these policies.
