장애인이 지각하는 가족 건강성의 변화 궤적과 예측 변인 분석 : 잠재성장모형 적용

국문 초록

2023년 기준 우리나라 등록장애인은 2,641,896명으로, 전체 국민의 5.1%를 차지하며, 장애인의 일상생활과 사회 참여에는 가족의 지원과 돌봄이 필수적이다. 본 연구는 장애인이 지각하는 가족 건강성의 시간적변화를 분석하고, 그에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국장애인개발원‘장애인삶패널조사(Disability and Life Dynamics Panel)’데이터 1차(2018)~5차(2022)까지 자료를 활용, 잠재성장모형(Latent Growth Model, LGM)을 적용해 분석하였다. 조사 대상은 2015~2017년 보건복지부에 장애 등록을 마친 신규 등록장애인이다. 분석 결과 장애인이 지각하는 가족 건강성은 단순한 선형 변화가 아닌 비선형적 변화 패턴을 보였으며, 초기 가족 건강성이 낮을수록 변화 속도가 더 빨랐다. 또한, 가족건강성의 변화에는 가족 내 정서적 지지, 의료서비스 만족도, 사회적 관계 요인 등이 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 특히, 정서적 지지는 가족 건강성의 초기값과 변화율 모두에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 핵심 요인으로 확인되었다. 반면, 장애인 복지서비스 만족도는 가족 건강성의 초기값에는 영향을 미쳤으나, 장기적인 변화율에는 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로, 장애인 가족의 돌봄 부담 완화와 사회적 돌봄체계 강화를 위한 정책적 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

As of 2023, the number of registered disabled people in Korea was 2,641,896, accounting for 5.1% of the total population, and family support and care are essential for the daily life and social participation of the disabled. The purpose of this study is to analyze the temporal change of family health perceived by the disabled and to identify the factors that influence it. To this end, data from the 1st to the 5th (2018) Data of the Disability and Life Dynamics Panel of the Korea Disabled Development Institute were used and analyzed by applying the Latent Growth Model (LGM). The subjects of the survey were newly registered disabled people who registered with the Ministry of Health and Welfare with disabilities from 2015 to 2017. As a result of the analysis, the family health perceived by the disabled showed a nonlinear change pattern, not a simple linear change, and the lower the initial family health, the faster the change. In addition, emotional support within the family, medical service satisfaction, and social relations factors had a significant influence on the change in family health. In particular, emotional support was identified as a key factor that positively influenced both the initial value and the rate of change in family health. On the other hand, satisfaction with welfare services for the disabled had an effect on the initial value of family health, but did not significantly affect the long-term rate of change. Based on these results, policy suggestions for easing the burden of care for families with disabilities and strengthening the social care system were presented.
