소상공인 소매업체의 디지털 전환 지원을 위한 효율성 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 디지털 전환에 대한 소상공인 사업체와 정책 입안자의 의사결정에 이바지하고자 디지털 전환 수준에 따른 소매업 사업체의 내적·외적 운영성과 차이를 검증한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 자료포락분석을 이용하여 2,239개 소상공인 소매업 사업체의 내적 운영성과인 운영효율성을 평가한다. 그리고 이단계군집분석을 활용하여 소상공인 사업체의 디지털 전환 수준에 따른 운영 형태를 분류한다. 또한 크루스칼-왈리스 일원분산분석과 일원분산분석을 이용하여 운영 형태에 따른 운영효율성, 매출액 및 순이익의 차이를 비교·분석한다. 분석결과 소상공인 소매업체의 디지털 전환 수준이 높을수록 운영효율성은 낮아지며 매출액은 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 오프라인 및 카드결제 위주의 사업체와 온라인 및 간편결제 위주의 사업체 간에는 유의한 순이익 차이는 없으나, 오프라인 및 현금결제 위주의 사업체 보다는 순이익이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study aims to contribute the decision-making of small business owners and policymakers concerning digital transformation by examining the differences in internal and external operational performance of retail businesses acording to the levle of digital transformation. Specifically, the study employs data envelopment analysis to measure operational efficiency, which is the internal performance of 2,239 small retail businesses. Furthermore, the study utilizes two-stage cluster analysis to categorize business operational forms based on their digital transformation levels, and analyzes the difference in operating efficiency, sales, and net profit according to operational forms using Kruskal-Wallis one-way ANOVA and one-way ANOVA. The results show that the higher the level of digital transformation, the lower the operational efficiency and the higher the sales. In addition, there is no significant difference in net profit between offline and card- based businesses and online and simple payment-based businesses, but it is higher than offline and cash-based businesses.
