국문 초록

본 연구는 아감벤의 예술과 랑시에르의 감각학에 대한 비교 연구를 통하여 아감벤은 예술을 통하여 랑시에르는 감각학을 통하여 새로운 공동체에 대한 사유를 제시한다는 것을 주장하고자 한다. 아감벤은 플라톤의 감각-무감각 관계에 대한 논의로부터 출발한다. 아감벤은 플라톤의 패러다임의 사유가 아리스토텔레스 이래로 묻혀왔다고 판단하고 플라톤의 감각-무감각의 관계에 의한 패러다임의 사유로 다시 돌아갈 것을 주장한다. 플라톤에 비판적인 랑시에르는 플라톤에 의한 공동체 중심의 감각 분배 방식에 대한 비판적 논의로부터 시작한다. 랑시에르는 플라톤의 감각 통제방식이 감각의 분배 방식을 제한하여 공동체의 삶의 방식도 정해왔다고 비판한다. 아감벤은 플라톤의 감각-무감각의 단계를 구현하는 예술을 통하여 삶-의-형식을 복구하여 도래할 공동체로 나아갈 것을 주장한다. 랑시에르의 감각학은 플라톤과 아리스토텔레스에 의한 감각 분배 방식을 해체하여 감각을 전제없이 수용하는 방식에 의한 삶의 공동체를 구축한다. 아감벤은 무-감각의 ‘무’(an-)를 통하여 새로운 공동체가 도래할 수 있음을 보여준다. 랑시에르는 감각의 ‘탈-’(dis-)을 통하여 감각의 공동체가 구성됨을 주장한다. 아감벤의 ‘무’와 랑시에르의 ‘탈-’은 모두 주체없는 주체가 수행하는 주체화 과정이다.

영문 초록

A comparative study on Agamben’s art and Rancière’s aesthetics will bring an understanding that Agamben proposes a new community through art and Rancière presents an idea of a new community through aesthetics. Agamben starts with Plato’s presentation of paradigm based on the relation between aisthesis and an-aisthesis which has been forgotten since Aristotle. Agamben claims to recuperate Plato’s paradigm with the relation between aisthesis and an-aisthesis. Rancière, critical of Plato, begins with a critique of Plato’s community-centered distribution of the sensible. Rancière raises a critique of Plato with the claim that Plato’s method of distributing the sensible delimits and determines ways of life in community. Agamben’s art accommodating the relation between the sensible and the in-sensible will present a way leading to coming community with recuperation of form-of-life. Rancière’s aesthetics dis-mantles Plato’s and Aristotle’s methods of distribution of the sensible by responding to the sensible without any presupposition, which will establish coming community of the sensible. Agamben proposes in-operativity as in an-aisthesis in Plato, which will bring in coming community. Rancière believes that through ‘dis-’ of the sensible, coming community of the sensible will come into being. Agamben’s ‘in-’ and Rancière’s ‘dis-’ are performed during subjectification by subject-less subjects.
