국문 초록

Some scholars believe that Natsume Soseki is the pioneer of intellectual literature in modern Japanese literature history. In his later trilogy, The Heart, he portrays the intellectual image of the pessimistic and reclusive “Sir”. Based on the work, this paper examines the image of “Mr.”, an intellectual in the Meiji period, and identifies the reasons for the failure of “Mr.”, who experienced spiritual betrayal of intellectuals, to save himself by exploring the psychological transformation of “Mr.”, who suffered from internal self, external self and moral conflicts, aiming to explore the background of the late Meiji era. Under the influence of egoism, the inner world of the intellectuals who are unconscious and struggling.

영문 초록

有学者认为夏目漱石是日本近代文学史上知识分子文学的开拓者。在其后期三部曲《心》中，他塑造悲观厌世、与世隔绝的“先生”知识分子形象。本文立足于作品，在考察明治时期的知识分子——“先生”这一人物形象的基础上，通过探明饱受内在的自我、外在自我和道德冲突的“先生”的心理转变，辨明经历知识分子精神背叛的“先生”自救失败的缘由，旨在探寻处于明治末期时代背景下，在利己主义思潮影响下，无意识深陷、挣扎的知识分子的内心世界。
