고운사 연수전의 역사성과 역사콘텐츠 시각의 적용

국문 초록

의성 고운사(孤雲寺) 연수전(延壽殿)은 조선시대에 기로소(耆老所)와 원당(願堂)의 역할을 동시에 수행했던 특별한 성격의 역사유적이다. 고운사 연수전은 기로소원당으로 본래 형태를 거의 그대로 갖추고 현재까지 보존되었다. 연수전은 조선시대의 유교 사상과 불교 사상을 동시에 살펴볼 수 있다는 역사적 특징을 가지고 있다. 따라서 고운사 연수전은 역사콘텐츠의 개념을 적용해 다양한 활용 방안을 찾을 수 있는 가능성이 높은 소재이다. 고운사 연수전에 관련된 소재들을 역사콘텐츠로 활용하기 위해서는 관련 자료의 데이터베이스 구축 작업이 필요하다. 고운사 소장하고 있는 조선시대 사료를 포함해서 현대 시기에 생산되었던 자료도 폭넓게 수집해 보관할 필요가 있다. 이는 장기적으로 대중들이 고운사와 연수전 관련 자료를 활용할 수 있는 체제의 기반을 갖추는 작업이 되기 때문이다. 또한 고운사 연수전이 가지고 있는 복합적 성격을 부각하면서 관련 소재의 자유로운 활용을 지원해야 한다. 역사유적 연수전이 가지고 있는 복합적 성격은 유교적 소재와 불교적 소재를 모두 콘텐츠로 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 보여준다. 연수전의 복합성을 부각시키고 활용하기 위해서는 고정된 방향이 아니라 관련 요소를 자유롭게 활용할 수 있도록 지원하는 접근법이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Yeonsujeon Hall of Gounsa Temple in Uiseong is a historical site that has special feature, which performed as both Giroso(耆老所) and Wondang(願堂) during the Joseon Dynasty. Yeonsujeon Hall of Gounsa Temple as Giroso Wondang has been preserved to this day with almost its original form. Yeonsujeon Hall has a historical feature that shows both Confucian and Buddhist ideas of the Joseon Dynasty and therefore is highly likely to be used in various ways by applying the concept of historical contents. Building a database of related materials is necessary to utilize the materials related to the Yeonsujeon Hall of Gounsa Temple as historical contents. A wide range of materials, including materials produced in modern times and historical materials from the Joseon Dynasty owned by Gounsa Temple, should also be collected and stored. It is because this is a task of establishing a foundation for a system in which the public can utilize materials related to Gounsa Temple and Yeonsujeon Hall on a long-term basis. There should also be support for the free use of related materials while emphasizing the complex nature of the Yeonsujeon Hall of Gounsa Temple. Yeonsujeon Hall, a historical site with a complex nature, shows the possibility of using both Confucian and Buddhist materials as contents. To highlight and utilize the complexity, an approach that supports the free use of related elements rather than a fixed direction is required.
