전문대학생의 대학생활적응과 가족기능과의 관계에서 대인관계의 매개효과에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 전문대학생을 대상으로 대학생활 적응과 가족기능과의 관계에서 대인관계의 매개효과를 검증함으로써 전문대학생들이 대학생활에 효과적으로 적응할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 설문조사는 2008년 12월 2일 현재 신흥대학에 재학 중인 전문대학생 을 대상으로 하였다. 최종분석에는 368부가 사용되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족기능 요인과 대인관계 요인은 모두 대학생활 적응 요인과 정적 상관관계가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 즉 연구 결과 대학생의 가족 기능이 원활하게 이루어질수록 학생들이 대학생활에 잘 적응하고 있음을 나타내고 있으며 또한 대학 내에서 대인관계를 원만하게 형성할 수 있는 대학생들이 대학생활 적응도도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 본 연구는 가족기능과 대학생활 적응과의 관계에서 대인관계의 매개효과를 검토하였다. 그 결과 가족기능과 대학생활과의 관계를 대인관계가 매개하는 것으로 나타났으며 가족기능의 하위요인인 가족적응성과 대학생활 적응과의 관계에서 대인관계의 하위변인인 공감, 신뢰감, 진심, 자기노출, 위안이 매개변인으로 나타났다. 가족기능의 하위요인인 의사소통과 대학생활 적응과의 관계에서도 대인관계의 하위 변인은 공감, 신뢰감, 진심, 자기노출, 위안이 매개변인으로 밝혀졌다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest ways for community college students to effectively adapt themselves to college life by verifying the mediating effect of interpersonal relations for a correlation between community college students' adjustment to colleges and family functions. The subjects were 368 students of Shinheung College on December 2nd, 2008. The results of the research are as follows:First of all, college life adjustment factors have positive correlations with both family function factors and interpersonal relation factors. As college students have better family functions, they turn out to adjust themselves better to college lives. Moreover, they tend to have a higher level of college life adjustment as they have better relationships with others within campuses. Second, this research examines the mediating effect of interpersonal relations for a correlation between community college students' adjustment to colleges and family functions. As a result, interpersonal relation is proved to mediate the relationship between family functions and college life. Variables of sympathy, trust, sincerity, self-exposure, and solace within interpersonal relation factor turned out to be the mediating variables of correlation between the family adaptability factor within the family function factor and the college life adaptability variable. Furthermore, variables of sympathy, trust, sincereness, self-exposure, and solace within the interpersonal relation factor also turned out to be the mediating variables of correlation between the communication variable within the family function factor and the college life adaptability variable.
