The fact that movie corresponds to the genre of composite art isalready broadly known. The fact that movie is in the genre of compositeart means that movies are handling the world with very diverse estheticexpression styles in a holistic viewpoint. Therefore, necessity to understandmovies with consilience is brought up. ‘consilience’ is the conceptsuggested by Wilson, and it is the word meaning ‘The unity ofknowledge’ that unifies the respectively separated branches of fields ofstudy into one system based on physical causality. However, in thisdirection, we have too far a way to go to explain qualitative dimensionlike esthetic sensibility that art carries. Accordingly, after exploring thecommon principle on the premise that there are mutual communicationbetween the fields of studies this article is to suggest new viewpoint andmethod to understand movies by applying the principle to specialcharacteristics and esthetic expression styles that the form of compositionof movies have. The point that we should bear in mind first of all when we apply theviewpoint of consilience between the fields of studies, more specificallythe consilient viewpoint of philosophy and physics to movies is the factthat movies largely rely on visuality, and because of this, thecharacteristics of the movies appear noticeably through the process ofreproduction of space time. Accordingly, this article was to explore common principles between philosophy and physics about space time. Thecommon principles could be easily confirmed through historicaldevelopment process of studies, and these can be summarized into processof development from identity to difference, and absoluteness to relativity. Today the common principle of philosophy and physics, namely theaspect that the difference and relativity is structuralized to the form ofspace time appeared to be the condition in which inherent are change andmotion, heterogeneous nature, heterogeneity, indivisibility and circularity. When we apply and the common principle of the philosophy andphysics confirmed with the viewpoint of consilience and understand it,what we can use as major reference materials is very . The external characteristics of this movie is that is composed of ‘one takeone cut.’ In spite of the fact that in the form of ‘one take one cut’ timeshould have linear time phase to go from the present to the future, thismovie naturally inserts the past scene in the middle of the drama toconvert linear time phase into circulatory time phase. This could bereproduced through the process to develop sequence with the limitedspace ‘mountain cabin’ as main stage of the movie while charactersmove. In this process the space within the movie is in fact one identicalspace but according to circulatory time within the work, it hascharacteristics that it alters to the space different from each other. The space time characteristics that appeared in havean influence on the process of development of narration and generation ofmeaning within the movie. This is the way of development of event veryaccidently, so it appears to be the method to deny causality, and as theresult the meanings that the movie was to deliver as well were dividedinto various stream structures to take the form of circulatory convergence. Here the value of is found. This converges to the pointthat it looked at the world with other method (space time on the premise that there are difference and relativity) different from that of the existingmovie and converges to the point that the movie was to newly realize itin the work and when we look at this today’s viewpoint of consiliencebetween fields of studies, it was concluded that this opened the dimensionthat can be newly understood.
