영문 초록

Understanding the flow of architectural space with architects located in a wide range of spatial culture is the beginning of the development of furniture design in small architecture through harmony with the surrounding environment. The first purpose of this study is to find out the reasons for the design of indoor and outdoor spaces under the assumption that the de- sign range of Eastern and Western architects may be different. As a result, due to the difference in lifestyle, a large part of the furniture in the East is made up of indoor furniture. Second, why are architects involved in furniture design? In the case of eight students from the East and the West, the organic design of architecture and furniture (similarity of form, interactivity of space, continuity of space) showed similar results in the East and West, but furniture-centered design (independence of form, centrality as an object) was higher in the West. The result of this is that in the West, stand-alone furniture and object furniture with the meaning of the building are important in the design of space. Third, why are there so many Japanese winners in the East? As a result, it was recognized for its unique modernity by harmonizing Japanese tradi- tionality with Western postmodernism, for its unique aspects of sustainable design and light ar- chitecture unique to Japan, and for its naturalistic spatial design, which allowed for new appli- cations and the possibility of collaboration between architecture and new technologies. In the end, it can be seen that the direction of design pursuit in the two fields is converging, and it can be seen that the nature-centered design goals of the East and the human-centered design goals of the West are mixed with each other.
