청각장애아동의 언어와 관련된 국내외 실험연구의 내용 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 국내외 청각장애 아동을 대상으로 한 언어 연구 중 실험 연구의 내용을 분석하여 전반적인 경향을 알아보는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 1990년부터 2005년 사이에 발간된 국내외 학술지 중 청각장애 아동의 언어와 관련된 실험연구 논문 66편을 선정하였다. 연구 내용의 분석 유형은 대상자 특징, 중재환경, 중재자 유형, 연구의 부수적인 결과와 독립변인, 종속변인으로 세부 분류하였다. 분석결과 대상자 특징 중 연구대상의 연령에 있어서는 4~5세가, 청각손상 정도에 있어서는 난청보다는 농이 많은 것으로 나타났으며, 연구 대상 아동들은 인공와우 이식보다는 보청기를 더 많이 착용하였으나, 언급하지 않은 논문들도 많은 것으로 나타났다. 이 밖에도 장애진단 시기와 주된 의사소통의 수단 등에 관한 정보에 대해서는 언급하지 않은 논문들이 대부분인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 중재환경 유형에서는 치료실 상황이, 중재자로는 실험자가 직접 중재를 실시한 연구가 많았으며, 신뢰도를 비롯한 연구의 부수적인 검증 결과인 중재 충실도 및 사회적 타당도와 일반화, 유지 등에 관한 평가를 실시한 연구들이 적은 것으로 나타났다. 실험연구의 중재방법에 해당하는 독립변인 유형으로는 구조화된 중재 방법 중 검사 도구를 활용한 1:1훈련 방법을 가장 많이 적용했으며, 중재 결과인 종속변인 유형으로는 수용언어 중 언어의 내용에 해당하는 의미론이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 연구 과제의 방향에 대한 논의가 이루어졌다.

영문 초록

ABy analyzing the research contents of the papers on Auditory-Language of Children with Hearing Impairments which have been presented in research papers in the field of special education, this study was to find out the trend of Auditory-language research for Children with Hearing Impairments and also to present some tasks which have to be studied in the future. For this purpose, 66 papers on Auditory-Language of Children with Hearing Impairments were chosen and subsequent categories for research contents were also analyzed. The subsequent categories for research methods of contents included subject, intervention setting, intervention agents and additional outcomes and the subsequent categories for intervention method or effectiveness include independent variables and dependent variables. The result of this study showed that researches on 4〜5 years for subject's age, researches on clinical environment for intervention setting and researches on researchers for intervention agents were done most in number respectively. Most of the researches did not evaluated reliability but only a few researches evaluated generalization data, maintenance data, data on treatment fidelity and social validation measures. In the type of research intervention method content, 1:1 drill method was used the most for independent variables while receptive language was more used than express language for dependent variables.
