자폐성장애 아동의 감정 어휘 사용 능력 향상을 위한 카툰-스크립트 프로그램 개발 및 효과

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 자폐성장애 아동의 감정 어휘 사용 능력 향상을 위한 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 분석하는데 주요한 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 프로그램 개발은 선행연구에 기초하여 논문검색 및 면담, 프로그램 고찰, 감정 상황 선정, 프로그램 구성, 타당도 평가, 예비 실험, 프로그램 확정의 단계를 거쳤다. 효과검증은 전남 M시의 특수학교와 특수학급에 재학 중인 초등학교 자폐성장애 아동 3명을 연구 대상으로 선정하여 프로그램 실행 전후의 표정과 감정 상황 연결 능력, 상황과 감정 어휘 연결 능력, 감정 어휘 사용 능력의 검사 결과를 비교･분석하였다. 연구결과: 프로그램은 가정 및 학교에서 이루어지는 28개의 감정 상황을 반영한 카툰-스크립트를 활용하여 20분 단위의 총 16회기를 구성하였다. 프로그램의 효과로는 자폐성장애 아동의 상황과 감정 어휘 연결 능력 및 감정 어휘 사용 능력이 향상됨을 확인하였다. 결론: 이 연구는 경도의 자폐성장애 아동을 대상으로 감정 어휘 사용 능력을 향상하기 위하여 프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 검증하였으며, 가정과 교육 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 프로그램과 기초자료를 제공했다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The main purpose of this study was to develop a program to improve the ability of children with autism to use emotional vocabulary and to analyze its effectiveness. Method: Program development went through the stages of thesis literature search and dismissal, program review, emotional situation selection, program composition, feasibility evaluation, preliminary experiments, and program confirmation based on previous studies. Three children with autism from an elementary school in M city, Jeollanam-do, were selected as subjects of the study to compare and analyze the test results of facial expression and emotional situation connection, situation and emotional vocabulary connection, and emotional vocabulary use before and after the program. Results: The program consisted of 16 sessions of 20 minutes using cartoon scripts that reflected 28 emotional situations at home and school. The program’s effect confirmed that the situation and emotional vocabulary linking ability and emotional vocabulary usability of children with autism were improved. Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it developed a program and verified its effectiveness in enhancing the ability to use emotional vocabulary for children with mild autism. It also provided programs and essential data that can be used at home and in education.
