초등학교 진로전담교사의 과업에 대한 교육요구도 분석

국문 초록

연구의 목적은 초등학교 진로전담교사의 과업에 대한 교육요구도를 분석하고 이들을 위한 교육연수의 교육내용으로 우선 요구되는 과업을 제시하는 것이다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 2018학년도 서울특별시 초등학교에 진로전담교사로 배치된 583명의 교사이다. 연구자료는 Jeong et al.(2017)이 제시한 초등학교 진로전담교사의 과업에 근거하여 개발된 도구를 이용하여 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 교육요구도 분석방법에 따라 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 진로전담교사를 위한 교육연수의 교육내용으로 우선 요구되는 과업은 진로교육 관련 시수 편성 및 학년 진로교육과정 방법 안내, 진로교육 수업자료 또는 정보 제공, 진로심리검사 결과해석 방법 연수, 학생 진로상담 지원, 진로체험 예산 확보, 지역사회 네트워크 관리, 지역사회 진로체험처 선정, 지역사회 진로체험처 프로그램 협의 방법 등이다. 둘째, 진로전담교사가 교육연수의 교육내용으로 다루기를 희망하는 과업은 여타 다른 방법을 통해서도 해결할 수 있는 과업과는 달랐다. 연구결론에 따른 시사점도 제시되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the educational needs of career specialist teacher’s tasks in elementary schools. The participants of this study were 583 career specialist teachers assigned to the elementary schools in Seoul Metropolitan City in 2018. The survey was developed based-on Jeong et al. (2017)’s research. The data were analyzed with the method of educational needs analysis. There were two major findings. First, the primary tasks that need to be dealt with in educational training for career specialist teachers were as follows: organization of career education classes and guidance of career education curriculum configuration; provision of career education material or information; interpretation of career psychological test results; student career counseling support; securing career experience budgets; community network management; selection of community career experience places; and method consultation for community career experience place programs. Second, the tasks to be dealt with in other ways and the tasks dealt with through training should be distinguished. The tasks to be dealt with in other ways require the support of the Ministry of Education, the District Office of Education, and the school. The implications of the research were also presented.
