중등교사의 그릿이 창의적 교수행동에 영향을 미치는가?

국문 초록

연구는 경상도 지역의 중학교 교사 264명을 대상으로 그릿이 창의적 교수행동에 어떤 영향을 주는지를 살펴보기 위해서, 선행연구를 토대로 그릿, 회복탄력성, 지각된 학교조직문화와 창의적 교수행동으로 구성된 가설모형을 설정하고 모형의 적합성을 살펴보았다. 자료분석방법은 Pearson 적률상관분석을 통해 측정변인들 간의 관련성을 살펴보았고, 구조방정식 모형검증을 통해 잠재변인들 간의 관계모형의 적합성 정도를 확인하였다. 또한 매개효과를 살펴보기 위해 부트스트랩핑(Bootstrapping) 분석을 하였다. 측정변인들 간의 상호관련성 분석결과, 창의적 교수행동의 측정요인들은 수직적 개인주의와 수직적 집단주의와 낮은 상관분포를 보였지만 그릿과 회복탄력성 측정변인들과는 높은 상관을 나타냈다. 구조방정식 모형검증결과, 그릿은 창의적 교수행동에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 동시에 회복탄력성과 지각된 학교조직문화를 매개로 간접적으로 영향을 주는모형이 적합한 모형임을 확인하였다. 또 회복탄력성과 지각된 학교조직문화의 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의하였다. 이 상의 결과를 토대로, 중학교 교사의 창의적 교수행동을 신장시키기 위해서는 자율적이며 수평적인 학교조직문화 맥락에서 그릿과 회복탄력성과 같은 교사의 개인특성들을 고려한 다양한 창의적 교수전략 프로그램아 개발되어야 함에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The main goal of this study was to examine the structure equation modeling of grit, resilience and perceived school organizational culture and creative teaching behavior. This study analyzed the mediation effects of resilience and perceived school organizational culture. Participants were 264 middle school teachers. Results showed that hypothesized model 2 the direct and indirect effects of grit on creative teaching behavior were mediated by resilience and perceived school organizational culture. The mediating effect of perceived school organizational culture was shown to be relatively higher than that of resilience. In addition, the correlation coefficients of vertical individualism and vertical collectivism and grit, or creative teaching behavior, appeared lower than those of the observed variables for resilience and horizontal individualism, and horizontal collectivism and grit or creative teaching behavior. These findings suggest that a school organizational culture that emphasizes the value of autonomy and horizontal individualism and collectivism may encourage teachers to practice creative teaching behavior. We also should consider teachers’ individual characteristics such as grit and resilience for the development of teaching strategies to improve creative teaching behavior.
