국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 현 시대 대한민국 청년들의 대학교육과 고용안정, 주거안정 등이 결혼 및 출산에 주는 영향을 검증하고, 유의미한 구조관계의 세부적인 성별차이를 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 2019년 청년 사회･경제 실태조사 데이터를 사용하여 대학졸업, 대학 내 취업지원, 고용안정, 주거안정(주거소유 기대), 결혼의사 및 실제 결혼여부, 자녀 출산의사 및 실제 자녀유무 등에 관련된 15개 변수를 추출하여 세부적인 성별 차이를 분석했는데, 그 결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째, 대학교육과 대학취업지원이 고용안정에 영향을 주고, 고용안정은 주거소유기대에 통계적으로 유의미하게 긍정적인 영향을 주었으며, 그 영향력에서 유의미한 성별차이가 있었다. 둘째, 대학교육과 고용안정은 주거소유기대를 매개로 결혼의사에 통계적으로 유의미하게 긍정적인 영향을 주었으며, 영향력에서 유의미한 성별차이가 있었다. 셋째, 대학교육, 고용안정, 주거소유기대가 결혼을 매개로 출산의사에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 주었다. 마지막으로 출산에 유의미한 영향을 주는 요인은 결혼과 대학교육이었는데, 남자집단은 대학교육을 받은 집단이 출산에 대해 부정적인 태도를 가지고 있었으나, 여성집단은 반대로 긍정적인 영향을 주었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify gender differences in the structural relationship of the effects of college education, job security, and housing stability on marriage and child birth of young Koreans. For the purpose, the 2019 Koran Young Adults Social and Economic survey data were analyzed and detailed gender differences were analyzed by extracting 15 variables related to college graduates, job support in universities, employment stability, housing stability (housing ownership expectations), marriage intentions and actual marriage status, childbearing intentions, and actual child status, and the analysis results were as follows: First, college education and college support for employment significantly affect employment stability. Second, college education and job security had statistically significant positive effects on marriage intentions through the mediation of residential ownership expectations, and there were significant gender differences in their influence. Third, college education, job security, and housing ownership expectations had statistically significant effects on the intention of childbirth through marriage, and marriage partially mediated the impact of foreign life potential variables on the intention of childbirth, and there was a significant gender difference in influence.
