영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest implications for Changwon City to build infrastructure for international cruise porting, such as operation of cruise pier and development of cruise terminal. To this end, we analyzed the internal and external environment in developing international cruise docks and terminals for several container ports in Changwon city. This study investigated the development, infrastructure construction and operation of cruise ports and terminals in Korea and overseas. In addition, literature analysis, internet research, etc. were conducted to analyze the conditions of cruise ships entering and leaving the ports in the Changwon city. In addition, comparative analysis was conducted for each port to select the best place for the development of cruise wharf and terminal. This study analyzes the international cruise port conditions in various angles for container ports in Changwon city. It is expected that it will be possible to set the direction for the development of cruise docks and dedicated terminals that can minimize the burden on large-scale facility investment while making the most of the existing port infrastructure. The results of this study are expected to be a useful resource for Changwon City to attract international cruise ships in the Northeast Asian cruise market.
