국문 초록

간찰은 그 내용과 형식면에 있어서 서간문이라는 점과 함께 과거 전통시대를 이해할 수 있는 학술적 자료라는 점에서 매우 귀중한 의미가 있다. 고문서로서의 간찰의 역사 사료적 가치는 재론의 여지가 없이 매우 중요하다. 무엇보다도 그것은 관찬사서에서는 찾아보기 어려운 현장성과 구체성을 지니고 있기 때문이다. 朝鮮時代의 簡札은 발신자와 수신자 사이에만 존재하는 유일본으로서 일차 사료인 동시에 원 사료이므로 전통시대를 이해하는 모든 학술적 분야의 기초 자료가 된다. 대개가 草書로 쓰여진 古文書로서 서지학적으로도 매우 귀중한 자료가 될 뿐만이 아니라 간찰에 드러난 필적 자체만으로 훌륭한 예술적 작품으로 평가받는 것들도 많다. 그 형식에 있어서도 역사와 문학에 있어서 뿐만 아니라 정치와 사회사 그리고 문화와 예술사에 이르기까지 인문 사회 전반에 걸친 다양한 분야의 학술적 자료의 단초가 되기도 한다. 뿐만 아니라 간찰에는 당시의 시대 상황과 풍속에 대한 사례들이 여과없이 드러나기도 하며 사소한 일상생활로서 冠婚喪祭에 관한 사례들이나 사회적 문제 혹은 청탁에 관한 아주 사적이고 내밀한 이야기 등을 담고 있어 자료적 가치는 매우 크다고 할 수 있다. 본고에서 고찰하고자 하는 간찰첩의 원소장자는 경북 상주시에 소재한 延安李氏 息山宗宅의 宗孫 李庸德이며 한국학중앙연구원 장서각에 한시적으로 이관 되어 있다가 현재는 한국국학진흥원 자료연구실에 寄託되어있다. 본고에서는 息山宗宅의 筆帖類 가운데 李觀徵의 簡札帖인 ｢庭下音徽｣와 ｢先牘｣ 등을 통하여 간찰첩이 갖는 서지･문헌학적 의의와 함께 연안이씨 이관징 가문의 家學的 배경과 사대부 문인들의 지적 교류 양태, 그리고 양반 사대부의 일상적 생활사 등을 이해하고자 하였다. 이관징의 간찰첩을 고찰하기에 앞서 먼저 이관징의 생애와 정치적 성향을 고증하였으며 17세기 조선 정치사에 있어 남인으로서 청남계열에 속하였던 연안이씨의 정치적 입지와 반복되는 ‘換局’사태로 인한 정치적 격랑의시기에 두 아들을 유배지에 보내고 정치적 탄압 가운데 있던 이관징가의 생활사를 살펴보고자 하였다. 특별히 이관징의 친필초서로 구성된 정하음휘 와 선독 을 탈초･국역하였으며1) 이를 통해 이관징가의 가학의 연원과 조선시대 사대부 문인들의 지적교류 형태와 더불어 이관징이라는 인물의 가정사를 통한 내면세계를 이해하는데 중점을 두었다.

영문 초록

A brief letter has a valuable meaning in that it is a historical material in contents which we can understand the traditional era. The academic and materialistic value of a brief letter as an ancient document is very important without any rethinking. Above all, it has sense of realism and concreteness that are difficult to find in historical book published in the government. The brief letter of Joseon Dynasty as one-and-only copy is both the first historical record and the basic data of all historical fields in the traditional era. There are many things that are not only valuable precious materials, but also a finished artistic work in itself, as an ancient document written mostly in the semi-cursive style of writing and cursive character. In its form, it also becomes a base of academic material ranging from a field of history of politics and society, but also to a base of academic data in diverse fields. In addition, the state and customs of a period is revealed without filtering. It contains cases of age, wedding, funeral and ancestral rites, social problems and private and secret stories about request. Its materialistic value is very abundant. This article is a data of Siksan head family house of Yeoan Lee, located in Sangju area of Gyeongbuk province. This article is a data of the eldest grandson of the head family, Yi Yongdeog. I tried to understand the bibliographical and philological significance of a letter , the background of family studies of Yeonan Yi family, the tradition as a noble family and the life history of nobility through Yi Guanjing’s document of a letter, Jeonhaeumhui and Seondok from document of stories of Siksan head family house, which was recorded in a data research institute in a Korea studies Advancement center. In order to carry out this work, I first ascertained the life and ideology of Yi Guanjing. I tried to investigate the life history of Yi Guanjing family, whose two sons were sent to a place of exile, who was in a political suppression. At that time, the political status of Yeonan Yi family, who belonged to the South family in the 17th century Joseon political history and the exchange state were repeated. I especially placed emphasis on understanding the inner world of the person named Yi Guanjing, with the origin of family studies and the noblemen’s ordinary writing style of Joseon dynasty which were composed of the handwriting of Yi Guanjing through Jeonhaeumhui and Seondok .
